Xandra's Rit Build
ammad2006
Well, I have this wierd thing in that all of my heros have to be runed up as a different build. I had Razah runed up as a Minion Bomber and wanted to make Xandra a Resto. Only problem is that the only two good elites for a Rit hero were [offering of spirit] and [attuned was songkai], both of which heros use horribly. So I ended up with this build.
Resto 12+1+1
Channeling 9+1
Spawning 9+1
[spirit light][soothing memories][mend body and soul][Protective Was Kaolai][life][splinter weapon][empathic removal][flesh of my flesh]
Main problem I'm having is that she wont drop PwK, so she sometimes has energy problems.
What do you guys think?
EDIT:
I tried these bars out next:
Resto 12+1
Channeling 12+1+1
[spirit light][soothing memories][mend body and soul][channeled strike][life][splinter weapon][empathic removal][flesh of my flesh]
OR
Resto 12+1+1
Channeling 9+1
Inspiration 9
[spirit light][soothing memories][mend body and soul][splinter weapon][life][waste not want not][Power drain][expel hexes]
I prefer the second one due to the better energy management (the first one works too) and because I usually run a [infuse condition] + [foul feast] MM so conditon removal is not neccesary.

I am thinking how you are planning to put 2 elites in there?
I Will Heal You Ally
Please read his text lol
Well if going Resto why not try a resto spell

Just go Wep or Remedy or Xinra's(spl?) Wep...Or if you want, preservation is a good skill, just need to keep in range of it(if you're a ranged heavy build there ya go)

No reason whatsoever for Spawning. You can then run 14/14.
I'd also dump FomF amd bring AR.
The big problem of course is the fact that this would work nicely on a player, but a hero will probably run into issues due to their love for spam. So a necro would probably work better for this.

I'd swap protective for essence strike then you have a damn good build.

Do you guys even bother to read the post before you go screwing up the place with the arrogant comments anymore, or is it just fully automatic now? Jeez.

Umm, I see no PvE skills.
Could you use [Energetic Was Lee Sa] or [Essence Strike]?
[Energetic Was Lee Sa] and a secondary healer might reduce the energy demand. Unfortunately I haven't spent much time working with Ritualist Heroes, been spending my time making a build I can use. Good luck, though.

In my experience heroes have been alright at using OoS. And even if they don't use it correctly, its not hard to force them to use it. Just pay attention to their energy bar and intervene when necessary, which hasn't been too often for me.

This is a Hero build, therefore, no PVE skills.
Trinity Fire Angel
you should use Caretakers Charge for energy management. Perhaps Essense strike, but caretakers is good enuff as you already are packing a lot of healing and condition removal. Bring monks or mesmers for hex removal as emphatic removal is a kind of noob skill when PnH is much better.
Sierraa
My Xandra uses Offering just fine o; All hero's hold on to pwk too. There's not much for energy management, if you want to keep Empathic, maybe try a build like this
[Rt/Mo;OAOj4shqoOYMv5kTaOMNjW/xJA]
Would really recommend using OoS or another elite. :]

One condi removal isn't a lot to me, but yes, the original build does have a lot of healing. Empathic is a great utility skill, but a Rit with that bar won't be able to spam PnH or empathic.

try going /n and take [[offering of blood] as heroes use it better I think. Also, you get more energy back even at lower att point values as its a 1e skill.

Also, why do you have so much in Spawning? Until it gets buffed there is little reason to invest in it, especially when the only weapon spell you have will be used up very quickly (so duration isnt an issue) and the only spirit you have will always die after just 20s - regardless of whether it has 1hp or 1000hp.
Stolen Souls
I'd just go with one of the elite Resto weapon spells, tbh. And as others have mentioned, drop Spawning a bit.
Earth
Actually guys, his first skill bar had 2 elites in it, but he changed it after my post.
Anyway, I agree with what those above me have said. Drop Spawning (Splinter ends after 4 hits which is fast). And I'd go with [Xinrae's Weapon], which is very awesome and heroes seem to use it pretty decently.

If he did, then my apologies.
I agree with Xinrae, Remedy if you need the extra condition removal.

You don't need spawning power at all.Until it's buffed just put it all into resto and chan.
I'd say go wep of remedy or Xinrae's.Hero's don't do too bad a job at using them

Heroes don't use [xinrae's weapon] nearly as much as they should. But yeah, you do see them applying it, and it has to be the best resto elite.
Edited to add: And I agree with the people who are saying just to go with resto and channeling. I don't see what spawning is going to do for you in that build.

Updated the skill bars.

Given the latest buff to Strength of Honor, I decided to try out the channeling/smiting Rt/Mo. It combines some of my favorite things:
- 14 spec splinter weapon (SO much better than 10 spec than you would think)
- AOE armor ignoring skills
- Some defensive utility
Holy crap this worked out really pretty damn well, the new strength of honor is insane.
12+1+1 channeling
12 smiting
Strength of Honor
Offering of Spirit
Splinter Weapon
Ancestors' Rage
Reversal of Damage
Smite Hex
Smite Condition
Castigation Signet
I'm sure it could use some tweaking though; maybe remove Reversal of Damage, reduce smiting to 11, and replace with a low spec Shield of Absorption? I haven't determined whether he spends too much time/energy casting Reversal of Damage due to its short recharge, and would be better off with something with a longer recharge so that he can use his other skills more.

I've been thinking about how to build a Rt/Mo ever since the buff to [strength of honor], and I'm certainly going to give your prototype a spin. But I'm wondering whether [offering of spirit] is the best elite for this. Aside from the fact that heroes kinda suck at knowing when to use it, I don't see how you're avoiding the health sacrifice because the bar has no spirit-based skills.

I tried a similar setup with a rit/mo. I used RoJ for the elite. I know what people are thinking take a monk but the 14 points as you say in channeling makes splinter weapon a load better for a physical than the usual 10.
Paul Dawg
Yes, I fiddled with the idea of a Mo/Rt based on [strength of honor (pve)], [ray of judgment], and [splinter weapon (pve)], but I never figured out a bar that had even a chance of decent energy management. Primary monk heroes do OK with energy if they're secondary /E or /Me, not so much if they're secondary /Rt. And primary rit heroes don't do so well with energy if they have only 10 points in channeling.
