today i was bored and decided to be a bit of a nerd and try to make a decent ele solo build.
THIS BUILD IS FOR HARD MODE!
its a build for farming the hulking stone elementals in HM just out side the sardelac sanitarium.
here it is!

No specific armour upgrade are required.
use max armour. a few minor runes for earth may help.
do not lower your health as there is a small time period every now and again where you can loose a bit of health, but do not worry this regens fast.
HOW TO USE!
pre-cast balthazars spirit as you enter the area then let enregy regen.
cast sliver armour and stoneflesh aura and aggro the HSE's cast healing hands whislt doing this. (this will keep your health up.
once you have aggrod the area of HME's cast protective spirit and armour of earth.
spam aftershock and crystal wave when you can. make sure to re-cast healing hands whenever you can and recast sliver armour armour of earth and stonefelsh aura whenever they run out.
because of the three armour skills you rarely take damage and prot spirit negates alot of it anyway. sliver armour deals damage top the enemy as does aftershock and crystal wave.
healing hands keeps your health up.
this build works very well!! ive tried and tested it alot!

As far as critique goes:
You have too many armor buffs. Armor only stacks up to a certain amount, unless it comes from a single skill, in which case that skill goes above the stackable armor cap. On top of that, your armor is not going to be reducing the damage in HM to 10% max hp like Prot Spirit is.
[Balthazar's [email protected]] is good. The HSE's beat the living snot out of you, giving you constant e-regen (I'd suggest using [[Essence Bond] as well, it regains energy from HSE attacks/spells, too)
[Sliver [email protected]] is good. It grants chance to block, and deals damage.
[Stoneflesh [email protected]] is good. It means reduces incoming damage, and should work after PS damage reduc
[Prot [email protected]] is good. You need it at 8 or 9 for best effect and to still have a few points for [[Healing Hands] and Energy Storage
[Healing [email protected]] is decent, I guess, if that's how you want to roll, but you aren't going to get full coverage out of it
[[email protected]] is okay, but it wastes conditional damage that you can't get (since you don't have KD)
[Crystal [email protected]] is okay, but it's a 20sec recharge to use the skill
There are better ways to do this, but hey, if you like your cup o' tea, drink it all you want.

well it works extremely well i just did a run got 4 gold unids and a loooad of money!
the only reson for sliver armour is that its the only ele skill i can find that does damage as you take it. stonefe]lesh aura and armour of earth keep the dmaage down and prot spirit helps between recahrges.
wether or not you like it i would just like to say it does work, very well. i can make a vid and post if requested. but its up to your own style etc.

Andy why use this over any of the other Ele farming builds. Renewal sliver with EOTN buff skills will triple the speed and work just as well. And about 10 other builds I can think of..

it's not bad, but the standard base is:

330 HP + SFA + Prot Spirit, basically same as u got except u can use a decent elite. Glyph of Renewal + Sliver is nice. Or can use the Stone Striker + Mantra thing posted above.

Reminds me of a failed farming build I tried out for ele.......
Uses GoS to maintain Ether Renewal. That covered my healing and energy..... For maintained enchants I used Mental Block (which refreshes itself each time your hit) and Kinetic Armor (which refreshes itself whenever you cast a spell). The other two were AoR and Earth Attunement. For damage I used Ebon Battle Standard of Honor and Stone Daggers.
Since Stone Daggers has zero recharge time, and is a spell......
I get healed for 126 hp every second (20 per enchantment with 5 enchantments, plus 26 from AoR), and I deal about 100 dmg every second to one foe (35x2 + 15x2). Not to mention, since 50% of attacks against me miss (mental block) and I have +84 armor from Kinetic Armor......i take very little damage.
Works great in NM, but tends to be somewhat tough to overcome any healing in HM.
Of course, Earth Attunement could be replaced by something more useful.....since I get +20 energy every time I spam a spell that costs 5 energy anyway, lol.
