Hi all,

I'm trying out the XTH predictor for the first time this month, so i'm wondering if anyone can throw a few hints as to who i should be looking at for the top 5 in both GvG and 1v1.

I'm not into pvp at all, and apart from rawr and straight outta kam, i recognise no names on the list, but i'm keen to see how many zkeys i can get for doing nothing

Also what is the most points you've had, how many keys etc.?

I did last month (well not the button cos it wasn't there, but just chose randoms from liking the names) and got 80 points

I see there's plenty of time left to make the predictions, so i'll observer mode a few games and do a wee bit of research into it. If there are clear favourites i'd rather vote them in than use the random voter..

I would suggest not putting too much effort into predictions until after Thursday's skill update. There is no telling how it might effect the meta or certain guilds' chances.

That's a very valid point you make there, i'll definitley leave the predictions until as late as possible.

There's generally a thread created in the Gladiator forum closer to when you should actually be making your predictions. I wouldn't do them until the thurs/fri before the tourney (in this case the 28th-29th) to allow for last minute qualifications.

automatic voter thing (Vote Aid) was broken due to the recent upgrade of the XTH house. As far as I know it has not been made to work with the new setup.

People don't play games they pay for to get rewards they "deserve". GW is not work. It's there for grab and there's very little you can do about it.

And seriously, when I read the various PvP forums, I get bored extremely quickly with the insider information. Lemming came back for StS? (I made this up based on a few things I read) Woaw, that's really great. And XXX took YYY in guild ZZZ which is made of AAA and BBB, but their monk CCC owns? Yeah sure, high-end PvP is a small family, but no surprise that people can't keep up on this "shit".

And hit the random button for HB. Nobody cares about/follows HB, so you're not gonna get hints there.

What the predictor did was to look at previous months results and average them out.

You can do that yourself even if you dont want to watch the matches, you can tell that the guilds who have been in the top 5 for the past 3 months would probably be in the top 8 and so on.

HB is alot more difficult to predict partly because competitors keep changing their pvp character names. Guild names are a little more difficult to change.
