Glad farming services, why don't they exist?

Hey Mallyx [icU]

Me/

The thread on being banned for fame selling services brought this to my attention.

I notice a lot of people sell fame points for Hero title in the services section, but I never see anyone selling gladiator points. I know it's possible to farm glad. It's viable. But, it seems to be one of the few pvp areas where no one really tries to sell the rank. So my question is, why don't people do it?

Because glad points are much easier to get. You don't have to set up teams just go into RA... No "flashy" emotes either.

Sync RA = guaranteed gladpoints.

HA and Champ pit you against other organized teams (usually), and thus are much harder to acquire.

Heroes' Ascent is horribly biased based upon Fame. In Team Arenas, you don't need Gladiator Rank in order to find a decent group. I am surprised though that people don't take advantage of RA syncing for this though...

And of course, you can get them semi-easily in RA

My point of view - it's a lot easier to farm Champ and Fame points for somebody when you have seven people you know you can count on with your team.

Having only three people, on the other hand...

#1 because ta is 4v4 and in order to successfully farm it (30-50wins per run) you need all 4 players to be at the least compitent.

#2 you dont get glads every win and to "farm" them you need to be in +4 bonus(20+wins)

The margin of error isnt there like it is in tombs where you can just stick someone on aoe.

I've no clue how champ point services operate, i assume it involves Bspike.

Also as mentioned above glad points are accessible to everyone through ra. Though this certainly isnt "farming". You can get more gp in ta in an hour then you would spending a week playing in ra.

Long story short: even bad players can get 400 glad points for HoM unassisted.

Not true of 100 Champ points or 2800/4665 fame.

Thus, the demand just isn't there.

Glad farming services, why don't they exist? ..because no one really cares about glad points. High glad points = a lot of hours in RA syncing and dealing w/ AFKers.
