After the birthday celebration Kaineng has changed and looks like it is night time and what not. Is this change permanent. If so does anyone have proof that it is.
P.S. I like the change a lot if it is. Makes the city look nicer.
Permanent change?

I always assumed that it was temporary... but today i started to wonder the same thing as you.

Here is a link to the Riverside thread on this. Regina posted that they would be changing it back in the next update. When posters said they liked it and didn't want it to change, Regina said she would pass that on. As of now (post-update) it is still night in KC.

Honestly I liked it the brighter way.

Honestly I like it the darker way.

There's no pleasing everyone, but personally I like the nighttime KC. It ad's a bit of variation to the otherwise pretty monotonous looking city

i prefer the lighter kaenig but i can live with the darker one

I'd been wondering about that.
Personally, I like the decorated Kaineng, but I don't think it should stay that way. It makes the city look nicer, yes, but Kaineng's SUPPOSED to be a dump. It's meant to look ugly. If it's pretty all year round, it makes the holidays less special.

Hyperventilate
I definitely prefer it. Darker = Better. It makes it look and feel like a real city.

Maybe they should just invert it. Keep it dark year round but make it light for festivals.
