May 14 skill balance... time to update hero bars
AtomicMew
Any new ideas?
Besides yet another random PwK nerf. There's also specifically, [Strength of Honor] buff, which seems to be the biggest change. I seriously hate melee heroes, but with that kind of buff, seems like they'll be hard to ignore.

first of all, physical in pve isnt that great as most foes seem to have incredible amounts of armor plus loads of melee shutdown
secondly, youll have to deal with heavy enchant removal almost all the time, which makes renewing soh a pain, not to mention it being stripped in combat.
Moreover, the PwK change isnt that critical imo... pve bars never fully depended on it anyway.
Discordway is still the way to go for armor ignoring, highly spamable dmg with great heals/prots (weap of warding), high energy regeneration (soul reaping being broken right from the very start) and lotsa minion bombs.
Otherwise you might want to do hexway with VoR, Lingering Curse, SS, you know the drill. Well of ForgotName (50% miss for hexed foes) is a pretty much super melee defense, awesome duration and range ftw.
Trytophan or whatever its called signet is great now tho. Spammable 40% slower movement and attack rate? GoGo, Hard Mode is going Bunny Mode.

If I'm not mistaken physical buffs are one of the highest forms of DPS. If enchant stripping was that much of a problem ER healers wouldn't exist, or Prots for that matter
I'll take a sin with SoH on him over some discord anyday.

I'll still take discordway > SS/Barbs/MoP > RoJ/SoH
awry
i'm going to have fun w/ locust's fury+ias+ soh :O

Physical damage has one of the highest DPS in the game. With the current buffs, my scythe sin kills in about 2 to 3 hits on average in HM and I haven't exhausted all the ways to buff her even further.
Enchant stripping is not a big issue if you cater for it.
I would try using Trytophan as a snare for my RoJway. Pwk and FF nerfs would decrease discordway effectiveness, but by how much I cant tell yet until I try it out.

Depends on the situation. If fighting a packed group RoJ kills faster than discording them 1 by 1.

Physical is only shunned on AIs because their positioning is terrible. Heroes get Discord, they don't get stance and target swapping. With humans you can do much better than diswhatever.

Sabway actually gotten a lot weaker vs AoE conditions/hex pressure/spikes (such as those fevered dreams mandragors, and all fire eles) with such a ridiculously long recharge on PwK...the changes should've been PvP only, cuz in PvE WTFOMG aoe spikes are as common as raven staff drops.

Countering melee shutdown is made possible through appropriate team build choices. With that said, you must've confused physicals for elementalists.

I'm actually slotting SoH on my discord curser now, haha.

SoH is very nice, but I dont tend to play melee classes.
Time to replace Aegis with Guardian or something I guess.
Also, hex removal isnt required every single second - even in hex heavy areas. I would say PnH is a better hero skill now that its recharge is longer and the hero won't burn his whole energy supply within the first minute.

FF nerf doesn't seem to hit me hard. SoH is a worthy addittion.

I was worried about that as soon as I saw the updates page on the wiki, because they nerfed two skills that I like my Sabway resto to use: [foul feast] and [protective was kaolai]. But I did Fort Ranik HM last night (for the Zaishen Mission) and was pleasantly surprised to see that, as the only healer in the four-man group, she was still pumping up red bars nicely.
In condition-heavy areas, however, a single [foul feast] may no longer be enough protection; time will tell.
Yeah, I have to figure out some way to incorporate that [strength of honor (pve)] buff when I play with my war...but Smiting Prayers really isn't a typical attribute slot for a trio of Sabway heroes.
I'm not thrilled about the nerf to [peace and harmony], either. I didn't see that it was being abused and have to wonder why they're nerfing all these skills. Like what was wrong with the old [castigation signet]?

PwK nerf hardly changes anything, still great armor bonus and I still use it with my d-way feroes,
What I like is [strengrth of honor] and [fragility] buff some new teambuilds might appear after that, in fact I already though of one. :0

Fragility buff made my Gwen's Fevered Dreams bar that much better ^^.
Its not game breaking, but it is certainly nice to have along.

So what I'm getting is that SoH buff only affects melee players since melee heroes suck? >.> Maybe I shoulda kept assa as my main.
