IRC or Other Comm. Tools for Guildwars

I have been a pve player forever and now me and my RL friend are looking for some way to get into contact with serious GVG players.

Is there some sort of recruiting system or underground way to find good pvp guilds. it seems all the trash in game players we join are either

A. never on...
B. just as clueless as we are

If there for guildwars like IRC is for counter strike, I would love to know a better way to get into contact with people

Have you tried the PvP Looking for Guild and PvP Guild Recruitment sections of this very forum?

If you don't know PvP very well, they won't let you in. Try finding something of your own level, maybe a bit higher and stick to that till your better. Good PvP guilds not gonna let you in, its like a team, one weak link can be deadly

If you are serious enough about PvP to fulfill their base requirements in Arena wins, then they will train you for GvG. They are dedicated to keeping GvG going with new blood.
