Your artwork is amazing. The commissions you have completed so far are stunning. You have a very nice style. I love to draw and paint, but unfortunately I stink with computer art...It is something I would LOVE to learn how to do, but I havn't found the resources needed to learn. Would you happen to know of any tutorial sites for learning how to draw kind of "anime-ish" characters using computer art? I have been fantisizing for a while about opening up a commission thread...I would LOVE to...but I keep running into the same problem : First I need to learn how to use computer art
...hmm...Well if you know of some website or something where I could learn how to draw like you I would really appreaciate it.

Hmm.. well, I'm largely self taught. To be honest my art is pretty 'primitive' as far as digital art goes. I've never delved into the many possibilities that come with various art programs.. all I use are the most basic tools. In essence I draw on the computer with a tablet the same way I would draw and colour in real life, except with the added bonus of an undo button.
I tried a couple tutorials but in the end I learn much more just by scrutinizing the art of others and then trying to pick out what the good/bad points are. deviantArt has a large collection of user-submitted tutorials for various things though, if you want to look there.

Finished Tidus Yumemiru's second request. It didn't come out quite as sketchy as I would've liked in order for it to count as a sketchy-styled lineart, but I guess I'm not in a sketchy mood right now.

Yesterday I finally got enough money for a Q9 VS and subsequently bought it for +32e.
I didn't intend for this thread to be temporary though. I got a moderator to change the title so it no longer says that I need gold for a VS. I've added a lot of stuff, as well as thumbnails for sample pictures. My original thread was decidedly lacking in direct-link images. I've changed my prices again, too.

I'll pay you over time, each week I farm items for traveler and people pay a lot. When it's done I'll be happy to pay you ~50k a week for the next 5 weeks. (300k total including the first week.) Just an update, I haven't vanished from this thread. Last week of school (at least for us seniors!) and I'm temporarily shifting my focus to making sure I don't fail my finals. I've sketched out several of the waitlisted commissions and will lineart/colour them later on this week.
There will probably be a mass upload of at least 2 commissions next weekend.

I've been waiting for a great artist to draw my characters for awhile but most have not been active for awhile. I'd love to have a group picture of my warrior and monk.

Background: Maguuma Jungle waters, preferably with trees or mountains in the background.

Some background info about them: (You don't have to read it if you don't want to)
Spartan Destroyer is the name of my warrior. She's short and spent her time in Pre-Searing studying in Nolani Academy and majoring in Swordsmanship. Prince Rurik honored her swordsmanship skills with a medal of excellence. Despite her size, she is able to quickly dispatch most enemies within seconds. However, she was never really a social person and traveled often. Spartan was very independent, surviving on her own and waiting for the day when her time would come. However, she was injured from a centaur's poison arrow. Her travels brought her to Kaineng Center where she met my monk.
Joyful Jasmine is the name of my monk. She's a little bit shorter than my warrior but spent her time in Shing Jea Monastery carefree and a rather happy child. She always joked around and played when it was time to study and the elders looked down upon her. However, when the time of the Afflicted came, she turned out to be the most natural, talented and best out of all the monks in the monastery. Eventually, the elders all concluded that she had Imperial blood. The elders banished her from the monastery, afraid that she will destroy the monastery. Monastery Decree explicitly forbids those with Imperial blood from taking up instruction in the monastery. Still optimistic, Jasmine ended up in Kaineng Center, where she helped out the locals with their illnesses.
Injured from a centaur's poison, a monk by the name of Joyful Jasmine healed Spartan. It is here where their two paths would intertwine.

@Chicken - lol, no worries. Your character's outfit (and the personality I envision her as having) are different, and that'll change how I draw her hair.. oddly enough.

As for eye color, a sort of light brown will work fine. I wish mesmer's eye colors could be as bright and noticeable as necromancers. =/
