Easiest Titles To Max
Kagome
Hi guys. I was wondering which titles are the easiest to max for a casual PvE player. Right now my highest titles include Sunspear (7) and Slayer of Wurms/Norn Title Track (5).
Sierraa
Protector and Guardian probably, can work on sunspear/lb and kurz/lux while doing missions as well if you pick up the books.
Kagome
Omg that's difficult. D: Do titles pass over to GW2 or is there no point in doing them?

In missions overviews you can click on the mission you're doing and it tells you how to achieve the mission and bonus reward, or master's reward.

I'd say protector and guardian titles, also kurz and lux. and probably deldrimor
Covah
deldrimor, norn, SS/LB, prot and guardian are easiest. And obviously the titles we max in GW1 unlock things in GW2, thats what the hall of monuments is for.
Sword Hammer Axe
The 17 titles I've gotten:
Skill hunter (4)
Protector (3)
Asura
Norn
Vanguard
Dwarf
Sunspear
Lightbringer
All of the vanquisher titles (4)
It didn't take me very long. A lot of people might find vanquisher a bit tough though. The EOTN ones can be done with handbooks, sunspear and lightbringer I did with the quests and skill hunter only cost a bit of money.
Survivor is also pretty darn easy, but since my char is from before titles were introduced I can not get that :S

As has already been said...
Protector and Guardian titles are among the easiest/least time consuming
with Protector of Cantha probably being the easiest title in the game to obtain (?)
I also found Legendary Survivor to be pretty easy.
Once I got to Gunnar's Hold, I would just run Kilroy's dungeon once or twice each day and before I knew it I had the title.
As for how titles and GW2 are linked, nobody actually knows exactly what benefits you'll get in GW2 for GW1 achievements.
It's quite possible you may just get a Scout's Badge for each achievement to display on your armour =P

Protector and Guardian titles, definitely. If you don't want to do the missions in HM, the Protector line will still give you 3.
Cartography is time-consuming and annoying, but not exactly hard, either. Again, SS/LB points can be easily accumulated while doing missions/cartog/fighting your way through any area.
Deldrimor and Norn are also very easy IMO.

How are you all getting norn so easily...?
xKyo
Norn pt farming in Olafstead on double pt weekends :]
Mortal Amongst Mere Gods
Lemme count up the titles I've gotten so far that have taken me little to no effort:
Legendary Cartographer (4)
Legendary Skill Hunter (4)
Legendary Guardian (7) (3 Protectors, 3 Guardians, + LG)
Ebon Vanguard
Norn
Deldrimor
Legendary Vanquisher (4)
Legendary Master of the North
Legendary Sunspear
Legendary Lightbringer
That's 25. I started with Cartographers. Some of the longest, but by FAR the easiest titles. Then I did Protectors and Skill Hunters. Started Vanqing, got LB, SS, Vanguard, and Norn while vanquing. Then did LG. Got LMotN last. It was cake. Only times I needed people instead of henchies were Tahnakkai vanquish, Eternal Grove mission (HM), Imperial Sanctum (HM), and Gate of Madness (HM). Those were painful. But otherwise, PvE is a nice slice of apple pie.

Easiest:
Protectors
Cartographers (use TexMod)

Skill Capping
SS/LB
Medium:
Guardian
Vanq
Hard (or time consuming):
Treasure Hunter
Kurz/Luxon
Wisdom
I am probably missing a few but thats an overview.

Another vote for Protector. Prophecies is so easy now with all the power creep you could do it half asleep.

Depends on what do you mean by easy. You can get SS/LB easy since using wurms you practically can't fail. But it is also very repetitive and mindnumbing.
Getting protectors is also easy, but it changes since its all different missions. If you don't know a mission beyond just a pass, it may be harder to get then wurming. Jennur's horde/eternal grove/gyala hatchery for example may give you trouble if you're not familiar with it and trying it alone H/H. Moddoks also pretty tough if you don't bring a snare or know to split to get both runners. Course, it won't be boring since you'll be doing different objectives in all the different missions.
Carto using texmod is also easy, but you'll still have to go hug corners and cover the map, which may or may not be your thing. Will make you wish your main was a perma just so you could ignore most things and just run around the map.
Skill hunters also easy, as long as you have the cash and skill points. Well, except for prophecies. Well, not hard, but frustrating and annoying. Trying to spawn one of the random bosses can take over half an hour just zoning in and out. And some later fire islands bosses will make you repeat missions over and over in the hope they spawn.
EotN factions are pretty easy to max using books. Again very repetitive, but after doing them over and over you should know them inside and out and you can finish them quickly. Course there's other ways too. Norn takes work doing norn runs from olafs, asura takes no work doing raptors. You can even just leech it. Vanguard points can be done easy with siege devourers or from cof runs. Dwarf you can get from cof runs or snowman runs. Either way, fairly easy.
I'd still rate SS/LB as easiest however.

First done max lb/ss.
Then did protector factions, nightfall, prophecies
Then did Legendary Master of the north
Turned in all books which made me max all ranks.
People know me ^^
Now going for legendary guardian.

Easyest rly depends. imo easyests are party and sweet if you have money, if not. protectors and cartos are afte rthat
The Bard
imo:
my conclusion:
the only hard titles to max are the PvP ones
- Protector of X, you get this automatically just by playing anyway
- Legendary Survivor, there are several easy ways to farm this title in no time
- Sweet tooth, all you need is cash and a fast finger to click on your candy
- Party Animal, same as above
- EotN rep titles, get these while doing master of the north, finish dungeons for chest loot etc.
- LB/SS wurm farm on double weekend, DoA HM for easy LB, turn in a book after you've done protector/guardian of elona
- Cartographer, takes some time but extremely easy with texmod
- Guardian of X fairly easy
- Kurzick/Luxon can be done in a week or two
- Skill hunter, easy as pie, if you're über rich you could just tome it :P if not you'll need some cash for capsigs
- Wisdom, if you buy unids it shouldn't take too long
- Vanquisher, not so hard really, just takes a while.

Do you just farm Kilroy's dungeon for Deldrimor points?

I got it by continuosly doing HM handbook with only 3 quests (Nornbear, first charr one (forgot it's name) and great destroyer). It's grinding yes, but it's surprisingly effective. I just did that 1-2 times a day in 2 weeks and suddenly I had it. Did the same with Vanguard title. Delver I got grinding HM Secret Snowmen Lair and Asura I got by grinding vanquishes in Magus Stones. The most effective was snowmen lairm, but that only works on Delver, so the most effective is the handbook :P

Good idea on the books... i had yet to sit down and figure which would be easiest to do :P

carto while VQ is easiest IMO...texmod FTW!

Mind sharing the technique for that? I can't seem to make the math work for me.
You need 10 million points to max Kurzick/Luxon. Even if you're doing speed clears that get you 50k faction (100k points when donated) an hour, it would take 10 hours per 1 million points. For 10 million you would need 100 hours. That's an awful lot of play time to squeeze into a week. Or two weeks, even.
Myself, doing Arborstone vq with H&H, I'm getting a bit under 50k points per hour from donations. This weekend will help speed things up, but I still expect to be working on this for months yet, since I like to spend some of my play time doing other things.

Honestly,
If you have access to EotN, Legendary Survivor may well be the easiest title to max. Running through Kilroy Stonekin's Punchout Extravaganza with scrolls can net you the title in around six hours of total playtime, provided that you're not a complete moron.
Of course, that's only if you're into making a new character.

Gave up on my survivor after a few attempts, might try geting the title by budgering. ~2 hrs of work.
Capulatio
I gave up on my Survivor because I died about 6 times at R2 due to lag/McAfee Minimizing/Pressing the Windows Key >< and router fail.
However, I am working on my Sin currently and she is my main. In the past 2 weeks I have gotten to KoaBD. I was lucky that we had the EoTN Reputation weekend as I managed to max my Norn then. So far I have:
Legendary Sunspear
Holy Lightbringer
Protector of Elona
Protector of Cantha
Slayer of All
This includes all the campaign, as I started NF 2 Weeks ago, not touched it before, and I started Factions 2 Days ago never touched it before, has just gone straight to EoTN.
Now I am going to do my Protector of Tyria, Delver, and Skill Capping.
