I have been locked out of my Guildwars account for two weeks. I have contacted customer support by email many times and, while I have recieved some automated replies, there does not seem to be any real people there who can help me resolve my issue. Surely there must be some system for resolving this problem. Does anyone know what it is?

I suppose that is possible, but I think it highly unlikely. Since I have only played with members of my guild, someone would have had to just make something up. It seems unlikely that they would do that to a total stranger. Wouldn't I have been notified if my account was banned?

I was falsely perma-banned (Someone reported me for threatening to hack my guildie) a few days ago and all I can tell you is to keep contacting support. (Use the same ticket you originally submitted, just keep updating it on the website.)

It took me quite a long time to get a response back from the automated GM response. They're still bogged down with Storage Tab Issues (From what I read reading from Gaile and Regina's talk pages on wiki), so the best thing you can do is be patient. It's an awful wait, I assure you, but if you have patience I'm sure they can work something out with you. It took me four days to get a response and I had my ban lifted in a matter of moments.

Have hope and patience. If you're temp-banned, all you can really do is wait it out. By the time you hear back, the ban will be over anyway.

Pointwithinacircle.... There is a phone number you can call.. YOu have to poke around the guildwars site or NCSOFT.com site and you will find it.. I am at work right now so I don't have the number on me. If you don't find it I will send you a PM when I get home.. You can call them and they will help you. Emailing them is a huge joke... GL

What does that mean exactly "locked out"? Do you have an error message/code when you log in? Or do you repeatedly log in only to be brought back to the login screen? Does it says the account is locked?

Just never heard of this before and wondering exactly what it says.

Im as confused as everyone else... there has to be some kind of message whether on the log in screen or sent via e-mail stating what's happening and why (if it'sNCSoft)...

One of my girlfriend's accounts was "compromised" somehow and added to someone else's NCsoft main account. She was similarly locked out for a couple of weeks, but eventually support realized the error and corrected it.

Eventually you'll get someone real and, assuming you have account keys and such they'll help you out.

It most likely tells him his password is invalid or incorrect. This happen to my son and I called customer support and they told me back in Jan. someone had stolen my son's access key and sold it to another player most likely for in game gold. That person then proceded to help himself to all my son's gold and posessions he had in game. Needless to say he was very upset. I am hoping this isn't the case for this other guy.. Hackers are scum...

I dont know if it is the same thing,
But on my son's account get a error 165 last week.
It isnt solved atm and Im still in contact with NC soft.

165 is that it says , you dont have a part of guildwars.

My son first part was prophecies, his account is just 4 month old.
He finisht prophecies with his necromancer, after that I gave him the other
parts first Nightfall followd with GWen and just a few weeks ago Factions.

Now sinds last week when he logs in on his account he cant play with
his Prophecies characters couse its says Code 165 .

You dont own this part of guildwars.

Really stupid, now NC soft says give us the key number and than we look
in to it.
But my son, 8 years old thru away the card, after I told him put it away safely
So now we have a problem.

But still the question is, Why did he get a code 165 after 3,5 months.

Somehow I don't believe you. it is impossible they do not reply to a complain, they always tell you why the "locked out" has taken place.

my guess is you got banned, ask yourself these:

Did you recently sell anything in game for real life money?
Did you recently use a bot to play the game
Did you recently spam the local channel with "inappropriate" words
Do you have "inappropriate" named characters
Have you recently done anything that is against the user's agreement etc?

If you have you're probably on a ban.

Don't forget it was the weekend. Weekends are TERRIBLE for response times from real people at companies.
