Can anyone help me with Gwx2.
I've done..
Copied the folder from program files onto desktop
renamed it
put it back in program files
loaded gwx2 as a shortcut
set the 1st one as the original
2nd as the renamed one
but when i hit done, and hit yes to load both clients, only one appears.

This might be the case:
When gw2x starts up the first GW.EXE and GW needs to update, it will not start up the second GW.EXE. What you then have to do is close the first GW.EXE window and manually copy the updated GW.EXE file to the other folder and choose replace. Then try again. BTW, you need to copy the updated GW.EXE every time an update happens.

just a quick question what os are you using. it does make a difference if your using vista and you got to change the properties on all the files in the folder to do that right click each file under the security tab click on the name your using it with as in username and make sure all the allows are clicked for everything. thats how i got it running under vista. the god thing is you only have to do that once even after you copy and paste it again

I had this same problem. to fix it, I separately ran and updated both, and i ran GWx@ as an administrator.

Try it - it works, it's no hassle, it's open source.
After nearly 3 years of recommending gwx2, someone has finally created something better - my assistance with gwx2 from now on will be limited to "Use GWML."

try deleting the second again and recopying it. if that doesnt work make sure you have write and read priviledges on the second one. also make sure you start both copies at once if you got one started before using gwX2 it wont start the second. check your paths in gwX2 make sure they are directed to the right paths got to be to the different folders you have set up. thats all i can think of now
