Outside of the UW / FoW / DoA / any other areas I might not have thought of where you don't get any henchmen, are there any areas which you have not been able to complete with H/H? Any vanquish, mission, dungeon? What about if we exclude consumables and titles as well?

Just curious ...

Yeah pretty much possible to H/H everything where they're allowed to enter, including SF and Dungeons HM. Hell according to the wiki, even slaver's is H/H'able in HM even though I have no idea how, NM in there is already nightmarish in there.

edit: I'll make an exception, I have my doubts that The Eternal Grove is doable in HM with the masters reward due to the shear dificulty of that mission.

actually i take that back as well. the ONLY exception i can think of is eternal grove HM. i don't think it's possible (without cons) to get masters reward with heroes and hench without some very serious attention/micro'ing involved.

stuff i could not complete without the help of other people:
-vanquishing Rotwing
-completing destruction depths HM (with cyndrr)
-completing shards of orr HM (however i believe it would have been do-able if i had a conset and DP-removal)
-completing vloxen excavations HM (that one is such a bitch)
-eternal grove HM

some dungeons i didn't bother to try and hench them since there were other people who wanted to come along (for example rragar's and kathandrax). i don't know if these are easily henched or not

I actually managed to get Eternal Grove done in HM with H/H, and no consumables. It was not easy though! Major pain in the behind. I know others who have done it as well.

Vloxen wasn't really bad at all in HM, well, imo. There are some groups that are a pain, but with a little patience, it went fine.

the only things i can think of would be eternal grove HM and and vloxen HM. I have a few dungeons left and most of elona and 80% of tyria left to vq though (i did h/h rotscale though which was fun lol)

I did Eternal Grove HM with H/H, but it took me three tries. I refuse to do it again without a guildie.

I agree with Jonnie's original statement of - if there are henchies, it can be henchied.

Edit: just remembered, I have never done Dzagonur Bastion HM without a guildie. I think I similarly tried that a couple times and said f-it, remembering my Eternal Grove days.

Eternal Grove HM for me. Took me many tries and much planning but i did manage to H/H Dzagonur Bastion HM. Oh and Shards of Orr for some reason...i just seem to fail there...

Dzagonur Bastion is actually not too hard once you know where you should be at what times and can kill quickly. I've yet to try Vloxen HM or Slavers HM.

It is hard (not impossible) to H/H in missions that require splitting. Heroes also cannot carry special items (e.g. spear and urn, kegs), tend to clump together (victims of powerful AoE attacks) if you dont take flag them properly, and cannot bring powerful PvE skills.

The advantages of heroes are, great reflexes, no lag, doesn't give up and leave you dangling in a mission, predictable, and can work well with synergy builds.

Henchmen are primitive and runeless forms of heroes. Play with someone or a second account to avoid them. Potentially, a good synergized human team with PvE skills is more powerful than a heroes team.

I always thought of Discordway as a joke, but after using it once, I found out it's the best build to vanquish in HM.

Anyways, I've manage to vanquish all of the Luxon areas, some NF areas, and areas in the Crystal Desert (used the 8 ppl trick from NF to Prophecies) with Discordway (in my ranger). So far, areas with condition/hex removal gave me some troubles (such as Jade Brotherhood Mesmers with hex removal and Jade Scarabs with Plague Touch). But with careful pulling, I did manage to vanquish the said areas. So basically, the only troubles I had with vanquishing with h/h is areas with effective anti-caster/hex and condition removal (and very stupid h/h AI).

I think, literally anywhere is possible H/Hing with enough time investment. For example, duncan HM is obviously do-able because of ebon sniper. Sure it might take 10 hours... but that's hardly different than how I did vloxen, which is to say, pulling foes halfway across the map

I used to do things in HW with H/H no consumables that I can't do now due to nerf of skills that I used or boost to skills that monsters uses.

I did every dungeons in HW with H/H no consumables at a time or another, including Forgewright.

I am a warrior and for these I used Ursan (still only one ursan in the party since it's H/H).

Now that it is nerfed here is the dungeons I can no longer HW H/H no cons :

Vloxen Excavation (I did it without Ursan but I used the pre-nerf ROJ so now I can't do it)

Shards of Orr

Any of the Slaver's exhile dunjeons

As for the missions, I am still able to do all of prophecie campaign easily, all of Factions except Eternal Grove and maybe the first cathan mainland mission (I used to do it before with only henches to the other side but last time I tried it looks like the spirit buff is too much for the hench group). For the nightfall campaign, the only one I didn't do is Dzagonnur Bastion, but I think I could do it because last time I did it with a pug we used a strategy that didn't require to split the party, so I could probably H/H it.

Aside from that, I never been able to do tombs of the primeval king in HM but I only tried it twice.

I also managed to do the last Sorrow's Furnace mission (the one with the big golems and flame djinns) in HM but it was pretty hard

I borrowed and modified discord heroes (lender zones out) and collapsed on DOA NM foundry 3rd room with around 6-8 monsters left. Just too much RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing spawn in the room. Is there even any spot there from where you could pull groups? I've tried that corner spot but it was useless everything is still aggroed eventually. Haven't tried again since.

Shards of Orr HM - this one beats my imagination. It can be done with Obsidian tanking / 600 of course, but if there's a reliable way to do this dungeon with more standard builds, I'm not aware of it.

PS: The Ebon Sniper is a rather stupid way of doing things. The basic idea is to have Shadow of Haste + Ebon Sniper + some other kind of defensive skill if you really need it (e.g. Shadow Form). You Shadow of Haste far away, run close, Ebon Sniper, hope you get 900 damage and instakill someone, then cancel Shadow of Haste, disappear to safety and repeat. It's painfully slow, so slow I've never seriously used it, but I guess it works if you have enough patience.

I H/H'd Shards of Orr on my mesmer by running Mesway () - Norgu and I ran signet smiter builds while Gwen did some domination and interrupts along with a Balthazar Melonni. Basically just assloads of holy damage. This was back before the RoJ meta or else I probably would've done that.

There's quite a few things that give me trouble as a necro primary when I try H/H. Not too many that I probably couldn't overcome, but packing sufficient defense can pose a problem. It could just be my relative inexperience.
As for other characters, well my other chars don't recieve much love at the moment, very few have even cleared EotN.

Everything except Slaver's Exile and the no-henchmen areas. I wish I could play stuff like UW, FoW, and DoA, but lacking 7 heroes... it's just not possible.

Also, it's possible that there are some quests or areas of the game that I wouldn't be able to complete with H/H but haven't actually tried yet; however, I've yet to actually find such a place.
