Your biggest H/H accomplishment
Arkantos
Hell's Precipice with henchmen, back before all the overpowered shit (and when the AI was worse). That's the only thing I can really say I think is an accomplishment, seeing as since NF shit's been easy due to overpowered skills.
Chicken Ftw
I once monked THK with all henchmen (never again.) Henchmen's AI was shit back then (might still be, I dunno, I rq'd using them after several semi-traumatic experiences and the invention of heroes), if I stopped calling to heal for even half a second they'd all stop attacking and run back to me like "durrrrhurrr what now mastuh?" Was a long, long mission thanks to Jalis getting stuck under stairs and me having to run back and forth while calling targets every half a second. >.>
That and a few other things are what led to me quitting playing anything but frontline in PvE. Lazy mode ftw!

Thommis with 6 heros...NM ...does that count? (had a friend bring heros and leave once we got there).
foo
Before consumables and pve skills.
I've also done the mountains (before disconnect and reconnect) and completed all quests but the 4 horsemen and the terrorweb queen.

eh, it's not that hard. my builds were crap compared to what I currently run... if I remember right, I ran...
Broad Head Arrow, Savage Shot, Sloth hunter shot, body shot, finish him, rapid fire, renew life... something like that. might have replaced sloth hunter for some other PvE-only skill. Don't remember. MM was in most areas, but not all. Rit was channeling/resto rit because splinter is awesome. Don't recall what elite my monk had... UA is what I use nowadays. Think I used WoH... EDIT : I think I added in Pain Inverter instead of sloth hunter shot sometimes. |
JONO51
rotscale on HM because it was the first time i'd ever fought him :P Had a glance at the wiki, and set off and killled him. Wasn't as bad as I would have thought, or as people were describing. 1 roj + sv xD

It mostly depends on which of my guys is doing something.
It's one thing to breeze though HM areas in Nightfall with just Mhenlo as my only healer on my SY! para and it's a completely different thing to actually struggle on stuff on my mesmer with 2 Canthan healing hench (possibly with the addition of RoJ monks because they just CAN NOT deal with the pressure).
So when I think of stuff that might be an accomplishment - they most definitely aren't done on a paragon.

Full Slaver's Exile, NM. It's not badass but it is pretty hard.

Dzagonur Bastion HM (and getting Guardian Of Elona, because it was my last coop), after 3 failed tries with guildies...
>_>

Zebideedee
Vloxen HM with H/H i would like to spectate
That quest was unfun with a capital U, couldn't do it without people myself.
Best h/h moment for me was Eternal Grove or Dzagonur Bastion HM (Masters), I was so chuffed .

Funny a lot of people find tombs hard it seems. Unless it's on HM I really can't see it. However if you don't keep your head cool: You die XD

Good times.
These days I just charge in with 2*sf ele heros and destroy everything instantly(hells precipe being the exception as fire with fire don't workl).

Kay84
HH-ed legendary vanquisher+the areas in EotN. Haven't found the time to try to HH al the dungeons though.
dansamy
I henched Thirsty River with my level 3 mesmer. In starter armor. This was prior to even Factions' release, so there were no heroes. Only henchmen. (I did pay for runs for the other two missions, but no one was running TR. I had no choice.)
The Little Viking
Ive vanquished all of factions, all but 4 areas in prophesies and all but 2 in NF..still need 2 areas vanquished in EOTN. But it was all done with H/H. Sure wish I would have known Sword Hammer Axe was vanquishing Dreadnought's Drift and Lornar's Pass, I would have loved to come along and help. Those are 2 of the areas I still need. But anyway, Ive learned with patience, pulling and a bit of work with heros skill bars, and flagging, you can usually do just about anything with H/H. I have also gone all the way through DoA with 2 real people and the rest henchmen several times. Now that's interesting and fun. Also helps that the other real person is sitting just across the room so we can communicate better the the average group. Only time i go to Frostmaw any more is when I find someone that hasnt been there and have fun. The usual "WTH just happened" is always good for a laugh.

Biggest H/H accomplishment:
I got Gwen to play my flute.
I think I win the thread.

I just H/H'd NM slavers' exile today. I haven't even been in there since EoTN initially released and I got my butt completely stomped in the first rooms of any of the levels I tried. Luckily this time it was much more straightforward than I thought, I just had to be patient with pulls, with a lot of running away and back.
I think vanquishing all of EoTN, especially the Charr areas, which I ran repeatedly with various builds until the zones were a cinch, was good practice. Also vanquished Factions and Nightfall in the mean time. Overall I played around with so many builds and got a good feel for what works for my playstyle.
These days I carry Finish Him! and Brawling Headbutt as part of my warrior's build, which I wasn't using at the time in 2007, and those are great for locking down and taking out any target real fast.

I think my toughest solo H/H would probably have been Slaver's (+ Duncan) on NM. I have finished FoW and (I think, at the least it can be done) UW with a 2-man H/H (technically only heroes) build; toughest so far would probably have been Kathandrax hard mode (we weren't using consumables either...).
Currently working on DoA (NM, not quite game for HM) with a 2-3 man build. It does seem to be working, although Foundry gave us a few hiccups because you can pretty easily get in over your head there.

I can do with them anything but Eternal Grove. Eternal Grove is a pain.
Surprisingly, Gate of Madness was actually easier with H/H than with players. Went in there to kill the Lich, retrated to recover, then when in to clear the shrines, then retrat again, flag in the point them makes Shiro come and leave just before he starts attacking again and again and killed him slowly without loses in our side.
Some things are faster, but the hardest ones are slower.

I can't do Eternal Grove either. I also have problems with the Thirsty River bonus, Divinity Coast bonus, Ruins Of Morah and the factions 2-team missions on HM. They really bug me >.< They're the only reasons I don't have Guardian!!!
LizzieB
I managed to do most of Factions, Nf, Nightfall and EOTN with H/H. The best one was Gate of madness, although I killed Shiro first while Devona and another hench took all the damage. It was quite interesting really but I was so proud of myself afterwards considering how hard everyone made it out to be.
JoeKnowMo
ToPK when we first got heroes is my most memorable, although I've done some toughies in HM since then.
pumpkin pie
I did everything with H/H, I think it has to be killing either one of these Cyndr the Mountain Heart, Kormab, Burning Heart (vanquishing resplendent markum i think, can't remember) or that other elementalist boss, in the dungeon with the rolling fire ball. no consumables, cos i don't have any lolol. Haven't done the rest, maybe i should complete it....
tasha
Thunderhead keep with henchmen only.

When Guild Wars was new, the players were so bad with the game that I got fed up and simply henched the mission + bonus in Hell's Precipice myself.
I was running a crazy split of heal, prot, and smiting on my monk because there were no "wiki builds". Boon Prot monking hadn't even started to be used yet. To show you how new the game was, I brought a Signet of Capture because I didn't know if there were any monk bosses, effectively meaning that I wasted a skill slot since there aren't any.
So with no flagging, no PvE skills, no heroes, no consumables, crappy Prophecies skills, and an unusable skill on my bar, I got mission, bonus, and a 10% Morale Boost when it played the final video. I still consider this one of my greatest accomplishments ever no matter what anybody says.

HM Catacombs of Kathandrax back then when he was still healing himself. Trying to drop his bombs from 3 heroes and myself and keeping attacking. I thought I would never made it.
