hello guys,
After having a rather long break playing games such as WoW and warhammer I came back to what I now realise was the best game I've played, Guild Wars. To give you a bit of an idea I left about a month after Factions was released. I only have Prophecies and Factions right now. I want to get back into things but after playing a bit with my old characters it seems that everything is SO much different.
The main problem I have is that I'm not sure how i can get back into the game. At first I thought I'd delete all my characters and start fresh but I'm not sure if that's the best idea. Also should it be better if I buy Nightfall and start from there instead?
Please help me out because I really want to get into GW again,
Regards
Back to GW, need some help

If I was in your situation, I would go out and buy Nightfall, and then take one of your level 20s and start to play though and beat NF, it has the addition of Heroes, which make everyone more fun! =P
Plus NF gives more skills, and it wouldn't hurt to buy EoTN either, more skills (godly PvE only skills).
EDIT: Also, it wouldn't hurt to look around the Guru, guildwars wikia, or pvxwiki. The first two can help update you on all the changes that have happened, while pvxwiki has a ton of builds for both you, your heroes, and for PvP, I wouldn't copy them exactly, but they do help as an outline for builds.

Don't delete your characters, you'll miss out on birthday presents!
If you add Nightfall you'll get two additional character slots so can start fresh with those characters.
I'd suggest adding NF, and starting one character there, so you'll get used to heroes. You could start a second in Prophecies and also start playing your old characters again for a little variety.
There is an active community in Prophecies Pre-Searing that will get you back up to playing speed in no time.
Even if you don't get NF, just take one of your characters to Ascalon City or Shing Jea in Factions and replay mission and offer to join in quests.
