Out Of Many Is One [Hoha] is a relatively young, Kurzick guild based around a core of friendly players with the shared interest of partaking in multiple levels of PvE.
Why we're recruiting
We formed as a splinter from a larger guild that was suffering from heavy drama among the GL and two major officers. As a result, we have created a guild that has a very low tolerance for theatrics and is fairly close-knit, but we are also unfortunately fairly small, with a base of about 4 very active officers and a few active members. We've been working hard to recruit, and to avoid picking up guild hoppers, I felt it would be beneficial to explain our guild more at length here.
What we do
We participate in a wide variety of PvE activities, including but not limited to:
-helping new players
-progressing through the campaigns in NM
-dungeons (primarily CoF)
-HM farming and the occasional Vanquish
-elite zones (due to inactivity, we have not recently done UW or FoW, but we hope to remedy that)
-reaching self-made goals (seeking new armor, titles, etc)
-spending time as a group and enjoying the best of what the game has to offer
We also participate in some PvP, namely AB and Arenas, and are hoping to someday try HA and GB.
What we have
-A cape
-A partially-full hall (Warrior's Isle - our unofficial Guild Treasurer is working to earn funds to hire more NPCs)
-A moderately sized alliance
-An XFire guild (http://www.xfire.com/clans/hoha/ - XFire is highly recommended but not required)
Times
We are generally made up of players from the United States, though regions vary. Any continental American timezone (PST to EST) is acceptable; players outside these times are also welcome but may find less activity.
Who we are looking for
We don't have any restrictions regarding experience level or campaigns owned. We also do not have any restrictions regarding age or activity level, but we do expect some level of maturity. This more or less boils down to respect and reason:
-Rudeness to guildies or alliancemates will not be tolerated. It's okay to tease someone playfully (say, if the 600 runs off without his enchants up), but don't attack or demean them.
-Slips of the tongue and some degree of adult joking are acceptable, but outright vulgarity of any kind is not.
-Slurs against ANY group (race, gender, or sexual orientation) are unacceptable.
-Requests for assistance are fine, begging is not. We will help you as best we can, and if you forgot to bring a lockpick/you need to remove DP/you need just a few more hides for your armor we'll probably give you what you need, but don't expect to get anything from begging.
-Don't be stupid. We're open to creativity in buildmaking and nonstandard tactics, but please don't Leeroy, and remember your profession's role. A little common sense goes a long way towards making friends.
-Relax. We're laid-back people; just enjoy yourself.
