Seeking your opinion: Monk hand-weapons....

I'm looking for your opinions on this matter. I have found very little that actually seems to help me as a Monk. My question to you is this:

What are your favorite handheld items for your monk and why? Are they energy boosting focus items? Do you carry a sword just because it gives you +2 energy regen? I'm not looking for a best-build scenario, just your personal favorite/opinion.

Brohn's Staff is my favorite PvE healing weapon. It has casting speed boost for healing spells. It has +60 health which compliments my elite (Offering of Blood). It's very unique and pretty

As for PvP, I always use a staff that suits the needs of the occasion. Usually it's 20/20 with a +5 energy head and +30 health or +20% enchanting.
