It's been a very long time since I played GW regularly. I am currently trying to get my pve characters through all the campaigns. It seems though I am spread thin with four pve toons. I enjoy picking up golds, but never see any worthwhile skins. I'd like to see golds/greens, but which toons do I keep/kill?
Warrior farmed wood a long time, killed Elona minotaurs, and could chest farm, but doesn't seem worthwhile. Sorrow's Furnace never worked for him. W/Rt IDS seems like his best farm future.
Necro is geared to 55/SS. No trouble with Ascalon HM or Anvil Rock. Even done UW very few times, but little success. Would like to see Fact/NF drops, but hasn't done those campaigns.
Ranger was used to Farm FoW forest with mixed success and very slowly.
Assassin didn't have the chance to farm, but I'd like to play him.
Which would you keep for farming gold/greens? The necro does the most for me now, but tired of hammers/bows/swords/picks from Hulking Elementals. I'll research the builds, if you'll help me pare down the toons.
4 Char: Which do I keep?
Lamsus
Spiritz
I take it you have 4 pve and 4 pvp chrs - personally id drop a pvp an make a new pve.
How can you be spread thin - take 1 chr thru all then work with the others.Regardless of how many chrs you can make for pve i feel you may think youre spread thin.
I used an ele for 2 campaigns and sin for 2 and eotn - not finished nf yet on sin but i do use all my pve chrs for farming with but in diff places that suits the chrs profession.
Farm hm for golds and bosses - sins are gd for that , rangers are good for trapping teams , necro is multi use and warrior itself can be in a lot of farming teams .
Ask any hoarder - more chrs you have made into storage mules the more you feel you haven`t enough storage room and need more - its same here.
Check farming section and builds section for info and ideas on what/where to farm with the 4 chrs you have - theres a lot of places and builds and it may give you what you need

I am Blu
I wouldn't kill any of your PvE toons simply because if you've had them a while you'll be getting better birthday gifts as they get older. Finish one at a time.
In my opinion, the necromancer (I <3 my Nec) is the most versatile of professions, able to farm solo with 55 builds or as a MM, provide excellent team support with hex/condition removal and huge spikes, etc, etc. Although I'm sure everyone feels the same about their fav profession
Just use the ones you're not campaigning with as storage, storage is always awesome. I have 9 PvE toons (well, 7 - two are in Pre) and one empty slot for PvP, and I still feel like I don't have enough storage. If you are planning on farming quite a bit, you'll feel the same way too. Especially if selling weapon drops, you will want to have good inscrips and mods ready for them so you can sell them at best prices. These can take up huge amounts of storage space, as they don't stack.

Brawn Over Brains
Note, with the Necro you can also Elite Tome farm with the SV build
And Sin can farm chaos planes for ectos.

i would delete ranger
i dont find them too fun
sins can do basically every farm currently, necros also can do many farms, warriors have some pretty fun solo farms and are fun for pve in general
your choice though
