The Foliagent
Archress Shayleigh
The Foliagent will be a class controlling trees, mushrooms, plants and other various reeds and such. A Foliagent is a more defensive class, something like a Motivation-Paragon-Caster-Thingie.
Weapon Type:
Foliagents won't be using the typical wand/focus/staff of the caster profession, but rather a long tube that shoots projectiles- yes we all know it from elementary-school (xP) and would be called a Blowpipe. The normal damage of a Blowpipe would be 13-25 at a midline range, slightly closer then a spear.
Attributes:
(Primary) Photosynthesis- For each rank of photosynthesis you have, skills Foliagent skills recharge x% faster and you gain +5 Health. Photosynthesis skills are usually connected to redirecting plants / fungi FOR general survival and self-protection.
Vegetation Acts- Vegetation Acts skills are usually connected to fungi / plant redirecting (offensive attrib).
Herb Boiling- Herb boiling skills have a defensive / protective nature (healing/prot attrib)
Forest Calling- Most Forest Calling skills have a energy support / strengthening / buffing nature (Supporive attrib)
YES YES I do realize that these attributes are very overpowered which is why I suggest this class will have lower attribute points (not very likely to happen though) or perhaps making the skills of HB and VA work VERY VERY bad together.
Energy- 25 (yea yea, low energy I know.)
Energy Regen- 4
AL- 60
Skill examples:
Call to the Mushrooms. 10e, 5/6sct, 15srt.
Hex Spell- For 2..8 secs, target foe and all adjacent foes have a 20...45% to miss attacks, move 10...25% slower and take 3...7 dmg per second. (attrib: Vegetation Acts)
Vivid Grass and Pure Rainwater. 5e, 3sct, 10srt.
Cook herbs- You cook Vivid Grass and Pure Rainwater to create a healing elixir that heals you and all party members nearby for 25...90 health. (attrib: Herb Boiling)
Natural Empowerment. 15e, 2sct, 20srt.
Environment Usage. For 2...10 secs, you and all party members within earshot have +1...2 Energy Regeneration and +5 Health Regeneration. (attrib: Forest Calling)
Demitree. 10e, 2sct, 30srt.
Form. Envelop yourself with reeds and branches from nearby trees. For 5...15 secs, you are vulnerable only to 50% of the damage you receive. (attrib: Photosynthesis)
Thanks for reading this folks, hope you like it! (it's pretty much a nature caster / mage)
Archress Shayleigh.
P.S.- Feel free to comment and criticize.

I like it, this is what a druid really should be. In my opinion 'herb boiling' seems too scientific for this class, call it something like 'earthen/natural powers' which may seem like a rip off of earth prayers but meh.
To balance it a bit, give some of the protective spells like -XX damage vs fire/cold. Maybe add some summoning spells too, with maybe charactersitics of the current summons/summoning stones (ie summoning sickness, only allowed a certain amount at once etc.)

Like the idea though (Sylvari!!!)

spirit of defeat
I like the idea, but does the environment effect the spells?
Logicly a forrest should work better then a undeath desert.
I really like the overall idea.
idea:
Bamboo defense: Create a lv... bamboo armor around you which has ... health. and will absorb all damage as untill it dies.
My point make plants live and make them allies and target able.

Sound like an interesting profession. But i don't see how anyone can stop to boil herb in the middle of a battle.
Arghore
Sound to me as a branch of from a ranger, Melandru Druid/Mage
Liked the blowpipe as a weapon idear also..
Your mushrooms seem a bit to overpowered though

Scarn
They have this in real life. The species is known to live beneath the United States.

I think this would keep going down the path Guild Wars went with the Factions and NF professions.
The reason core classes like Warrior, Ele, Monk, and Ranger see more play in things like GvG (before people jump at me, I'm just using it as an example) is because they are able to adapt and have the ability to do quite a few things with the few skills they can fit onto their bars. I think the idea for the class is decent, but it follows such a rigid template it would be very difficult to stray from classes like Assassin, Dervish, and Paragon, which are used only for certain roles, and cannot fulfill anything else.
