Assassin

Worst to begin with, quite easy to master later, more than decent in pve using gimmick block/armour-ignoring skills. Pvp? No real presence in any serious pvp. Best used picking off noobs on RA/TA/AB.

Dervish

Moderately hard to begin with mainly because in NF it doesn't take long to encounter lv 20+ mobs dealing lots of physical and elemental damage or stripping enchants, and Dervish has rather weak armour and relies on enchants. Moderately hard to really master being a more fragile version of tanker, harasser and spiker at once. Has some appearance in more serious pvp games.

Warrior

Easiest to begin with, worst to truly master. In pvp entire meta is based on core professions such as warrior monk and mesmer, as such it makes appearance in all pvp games including top ones and having good warrior on your team is certainly crucial for victory, just after a monk if not on equal grounds. Being a caller and coordinating entire team is not so easy either. In pve nothing special, just learn to tank.

Warrior is by far the most forgiving with mistakes. If you're just learning, make sure you don't run [[Frenzy] or [[Primal Rage] at all. They're good skills but require some further knowledge of the game.

Other than that, a Warrior should be the easiest to get used to frontlining with due to the extra 10 innate armor over both Assassin and Dervish and the 16 additional armor if you use Axe or Sword skills and carry a shield with you.

fixed that for you

tanking sucks in guildwars, it's only usefull in a few area's (and usually sins are better at it with Shadow form)

I agree with all the rest he (Ambient) said, tho

Easiest: Warrior. Even I can play them well in HM and I'm horrible, just horrible, at melee characters.

Hardest: Assassin. People think they can play them but they can't. Once you watch someone who understands the assassin and plays them spectacularly, you'll then understand how truly awful most assassin players are. Watching someone who knows how to play this class is one of the coolest things in GW you'll ever see and it's both inspiring and frustrating.

Warrior by far. It is also good to note that a warrior can be proficient in more than just warrior weapons. If you pick the right secondary, you can use whatever weapon you wish of the following: sword, axe, hammer, scythe and spear. A bow is better on a ranger primary due to expertise and daggers on a sin primary because of critical strikes.

well warriors are even easier than sins, you dont' even have to worry much about attack chains. if anything, a hammer warrior would have a knock down with a deep wound attack.. but not much.. and a sword combo is sever artery + gash... its not that bad, sins are more complex in terms of mastering, lower armor level, and attack chains.
