Scorched Seeds

Sorry new player, and can't find info anywhere about where to find these.

Of any guide to getting better weapons. I am level 7 and still using a crap sword.

Okay, so. First things first, http://wiki.guildwars.com/ The guild wars wiki (available through the game by pressing f10) is home to pretty much everything you need to know. In your case http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Scorched_Seed is the page on scorched seeds.

As you can see, they can drop from Crown of Thorns and Singed Oaks. The links there will tell you where you can find them. I *think* there's a lot more thorns than there are Oaks, so I would go on a kill spree for those rather than the oaks. I believe the West and North West corners of Old Ascalon have a fair amount of Crown of Thorn pop ups. So have a run around there and you should unearth a few, hopefully they'll drop some seeds for you!
