please read the wiki. you are killing me... anyways probably warrior is easy to start with. that's what I hear. Just try them out. They all have pretty defined roles.
Kumu Honua
I would suggest Rodeo Clown. What better than to be able to wear a clown suit and taunt bulls?
Suggest a profession is like asking us to tell you what flavor you like.

...Whatever you want to play. Theyre all the same depending how much you like the class, playing upfront/backline whatever works best for you.
I favoured backline nuking, so my ele was my starting char.
But i also love being in the thick of it, so my warrior is my second char.
They're both easy to play... :S
And for leaving the training area question (pre-searing) :
Whenever you feel that you're done training. I left pre at lvl 3 on my ele, and lvl 7 on my warrior. Some people don't leave at all but thats another story.

its hard to fail at wars though its really easy to be bad maybe thats what youre looking for i think you should just play what you like though because there isnt really much point playing something if its easy but not your thing

Warriors are somewhat easy to start off, elementalist are pretty straight forward as well, rangers are nice, monks pack the healing, necromancers are versatile... How the hell are we supposed to know what you like and what you don't? Apart from the mesmer, no profession is hard to start off imo, so you have 5 to choose from - take your pick.
As for the training, since you're new I say you should take your time to explore and get acquainted with the game in pre, since it's a lot more easier and you can level up as well. Don't forget to take all the secondary professions quests (you can switch between secondary professions and it's respective skill as long as you don't chose the option to make it permanent - giving you the change to try them all out in combination with your primary), as well as your primary prof. quests. Gives you skills and weapons for it, so it's really something you should do. Appart from all the other usual quests for xp, don't be in such a rush to exit pre. Things will become somewhat uglier when you do.

Look on the pictures, if you don't know which class is your favourite choose the best looking one.
As kupp said mesmer probably won't be your lucky choice in my opinion.
And one more thing. Welcome and enjoy.

The Scorpion Knight
With ranger you can be a bit safer attacking from a distance, and their not that hard to play.

Seriously, you've started more threads in the 3 days you've played than most people have in the 4 years of gw. Relax. Play. You have 4 character slots. Try 4 different classes. If you find you left pre too early, delete the char and remake it. Give it a month, then start spamming new threads.

Necro?
Whenever you feel your done with that bit, you can leave first chance you get or stick around and do all the quests for an extra lvl or 2, really up to you tbh
Ps. If you have no self esteem and infinite patience you could stay in Pre-Searing and go for 'Legendary Defender of Ascalon' title
