June Call for Submissions to Official Site Comm. News

Hey everyone!

It's a new month, and that means you can submit your events for June to be posted on the official website.

If you're hosting an event that's open to all players, go ahead and submit them to Community News. It's a great way to get more visibility about your event or contest, since we make a News Post for it, and that's pushed through our RSS feeds.

Do we add them here? I got an event coming up in July, and here are the details:

*Name:Freebies July
*Organizing player:Prepare to Burn, with his other characters
*Location:Shing Jea Monastery (during dragon festival), Lions arch (on the 14th July) and Lions Arch/Snowball arena (Wintersday in July). All districts are International districts 1.
*Event details-July is a special month for me. Not only is it the height of summer, but its the month I was born in. So why not join me for 3 days of item handouts! Grasp King Freebies, now a changed man, leads the community into the event with the Monastery of Mystery this Dragon festival. The second event, 14th July (my birthday) will be run by the Halloween heir Mad King Freebies. And the last day, Wintersday in July, will be run by General Freebies with his snowball assault course. Come join the fun this July!

oh what a great idea Regina! i will be sure to pass this thread on to the other guild wars video makers, we often have events (Queen kitiara and i had one just recently) something like this would have been fantastic! There should have some new events coming up pretty soon. i know Mask of TK is having an event coming up i wil tell her about your thread

And of course Daniel and I will hold our Halloween event, as usual. But that is still a few months away. We'll send details as this unholy night draws closer.

sweeeeet can't wait for this years Halloween, last years was huge (lol still in recovery from it xD!) grats on the Ball btw u too, sorry i couldn't be there the whole time but was great!

Hey Regina, as I talked to you back before April, Blade Radio will be doing their Winter's Day in July, again. As well as we have our other normal events: 50k every friday. On top of our Halloween event again. Which might I add, was a blast and thanks again Mal and Daniel for working with us on those great Halloween events! I think it was a huge blast for everyone! So lets have a repeat of another years worth of great community events! ^_^

Come Back to Ascalon Arena ("AA") to compete for 400ZKeys (100 zkeys/player)

1) When: July 18, 2009 @ 8:00 pm CST (-5GMT)(May be changed as the Xunlai Tourney Rewards may be pushed back a week)
2) Where: Ascalon Arena, access from post sear Ascalon City for Levels 1-10(level 10 max unless you manage to level in the arena, btw no restriction on pet level, ive seen level 20 pets in AA regularly)
3) Win: 400 Zkeys!! 100Zkeys to each player on a team of 4;
4) A team with a player w/ 20 consecutive wins wins it;(number of wins needed maybe lowered if low turn out)
5) How to claim win and prize, PM a moderator during the 20th consec win, a moderator PM's you back with a time, a screenie showing the 20th win and PM posted here confirms it.
6) Open invite to ALL NO FEES!!!
7) Issues of guild teams entering a team and sending in other guildies to either auto quit against their guild team and run around and stall other teams will not be tolerated and suspicion of such acts may lead to disqualification.

Moderator Name will be provided the day of tourney at the start in the waiting area of AA Ameri Dist 1.

Come one come all!! Its an open invitation. Free entry!! Just be warned there will be synched teams of very good and twinked (max armor, w/ 30 att pt. quests done) PvPers, so be ready and bring your "AA" game.

IMO it will take a planned team build either a gimmick or balanced team build will be needed to make 20 wins.

(You can make a new char in Nightfall or Factions (much harder in Factions as there are more quests and missions to do before you can ferry to LA, should make it at level 8-9 to AA) do both attribute quests then get a ferry over to Lions Arch and have yourself run to the Ascalon Arena)
