Bonus Items question

I just had a quick question regarding the GotY edition:

I just bought the GotY Edition because it was the cheapest one available at just $20, plus it has a Fire Imp Pet inside. Now my question is, regarding the bonus items. The insert says for bonus items you can claim them on each character on the account as many times as you want. So, I just wanted to make sure here, if my first character I make I get the Fire Imp, then get rid of it for some reason, I can re-add the Fire Imp to my inventory in-game for free no penalties?

yes, just tested to make sure (remember you can only use it if you are < level 20)

Agreed that you can get the GotY bonus items as often as you like.

Just to clarify though, in GW "pet" usually refers to a charmed animal companion from the Ranger's Charm Animal skill or a minipet. The Fire Imp you get from the GotY bonus summoning stone is neither. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Fire_Imp_(summon)

Just wanted to make sure you understand it doesn't produce unlimited minipets, as there is also a Fire Imp minipet you may get as a birthday present.

And since I'm on the topic, some versions of the game came with minipets as bonus items (not the GotY version, though.) Those minipets you could get from /bonus occur only once on the account - you can't recreate them later.

Cheers, Luny
