What the heck just happened??!?1

I was playing GW earlier fine. I logged off and everything was normal.
I just tried logging in again and the game done a huge update and when it got to the log in screen it just said Guild Wars at the top instead of the Guild Wars; EoTN like it used to.
So i click my mains character who's armour didnt look like its meant to and now to get in to Kamadan when my character was last ive got to wait for it to download 22000 files for some reason..

WHY!!?!

ahhh ok thought it has to be something like that lol
well im down to 8000 files now so shouldnt be long as long as my characters are all fine i dont care lol

The "Guild Wars: Eye of the North" logo was replaced by the "Guild Wars" one a few months ago and is nothing to worry about. As for the character displays: after Anets last big update your character displays reset and changed their appearances, logging into and out of each character will return it to normal, and as the for the huge update its just done that could be data corruption not 100% on that though.

If by "earlier" you mean "earlier this year," it's normal. Part of the big update from April...
