Yeah, I know these aren't the official forums, but before I go to support or the bank I'd just like to know if I missed some sort of standard protocol.
I purchased EotN today (using a debit card) to celebrate being done with finals. Being a full-time, live-at-home student, I'm pretty close to broke, but I transferred about $40 to chequing before I purchased it. When I decided that I might want to check if I still had enough remaining for a character makeover, I found that I now have somewhere around -$70 in my account. As I checked the amount remaining immediately before purchasing, I'm a little confused. Did the store just charge me multiple times?
The only reason I feel the need to ask is that I've read something about how certain stores place a sort of temporary charge that is removed after a period of days or weeks, although I could be misunderstanding this completely.
Yes, I understand that to anyone with the least bit of financial experience, this is probably a stupid question. Regardless, any advice would be appreciated.
In-Game store overcharged me?

So you put $40 in then when you check later you have $70? Sounds like a good deal to me.

I'm pretty sure he said -$70, as in, he was overcharged and is now in the red. Talk to your bank as soon as you get a chance.

Yeah, what I think happened is that the badly coded online store timed out but made the purchase anyway, so when I hit reconnect it did it again.
Then my bank charged me overdraft.
