Weapon Proposal
Helix Dreadlock
I propose to make some new weapons. I propose not an entire set, but a few unique and gold weapons. They will be max and have the exact same stats as others related to it. For one, I reccomend a focus for the Sin, coming of the Deadly arts/Shadow Arts attribute. They are focus, and will act as such. It could have a few other skins, but I'd like to see one for the sin, as to accompany another weapon I propose. It'd be something like a ninja star (the focus). For another weapon, I propose along the deadly arts line, it should be a Baton, arm spikes, or something. A 2-handed weapon being the ONLY weapon effective for combat on assassins is just ludacris. Why give us deadly arts and other skills if we can use only daggers. On my 3rd proposal, I suggest a Warrior weapon. They forgot to put a few skins into the game, and I would reccomend a one-handed hammer, such as the mace. I'm not saying these should be implemented RIGHT NOW. Just later on after most things are straightend out. These weapons could improve gameplay and mix up the current way of play, and give it more spice. I understand most people say "We don't need these, it's nothing more than a waste of time". Well, I beg to differ. There could be other ways of playing assassins than "dagger spam 1-2-3-4, 2-3-5-6. The one-handed hammer is so-so, but it would be kind of fun. A shield and a hammer. Don't tell me it isn't logical, many medieval warriors used One-handed Hammers and a shield. It would probably only have something along the lines of 15-25 damage range (max) for it, since it's only smaller, and can't possibly deal as much damage. I also propose the Katana be moved to Swordsmanship, Deadly Arts, and Shadow arts Attributes, since Ninjas use them too. There could also be a weapon, the Nunchucks, for Assassin ofc. I'm not saying create 300000 different skins for these items. Just a few. Like, a Ninja star focus for the Sin focus. These are just a few of my opinions. I would really hate to see any postes saying "these are a waste of time and space". Well, as I said earlier, you're wrong. Sins often run out of energy with Daggers, and I know you should have Critical Stikes. But Crit strikes dont work with the signets and other skills assassins have. Please tell me your feelings.

Game is WAY too old to be adding new weapons in. Daggers were added with Factions and a new class designed around using them. Scythe and Spear were added with Nightfall and 2 new classes designed around using them. If you want to weild an offhand for energy and a one handed weapon, there are options. True, none of them are from Deadly Arts, Shadow Arts, Wind Prayers, Earth Prayers, etc., but they are around. For instance, you can use a req 13 Soul Reaping wand as an Assassin and still get the use of the mods on the weapon, just not the damage. Same for the focus, you can still get the use of the mods, just not the full energy without meeting the requirement.
It won't happen because it would be a balancing nightmare. And if you don't know how to manage energy, a weapon change won't be the answer.

They have a tough enough time giving us horrible balances as it is. We don't need them to add new weapons or weapon mechanics to their game to make that job even more of a nightmare.
Weapon skins, maybe. Redesigning current weapons for attributes that don't have a weapon (Beast Mastery, Shadow Arts, Leadership), fine. One-handed Hammers, batons, and other schemes for inflicting pain have no place in the game anymore.

Give me some Nunchucks.

Sins can use staff instead of wand/focus, staffs dont req u to reach req for bonuses(only the dmg)
Anyway I like the idea, when i played derv i always wanted HCT and HSR on my skills :S On sin these could be useful as well(deadly paradox hurts energy alot)
The melee suggests would be hard to balance. The mace would still hve all the knockdowns and protection of a shield. The Katana well logically tied to the asian looking profession, doesnt change the fact its a sword. Nunchucks, those would be funny. Honestly though, id like a lance or two handed sword

eeeuh yeah, let them finish GW2 fast and add those weapons in GW2.
maybe you get some new weapon skins, but whole new weapon idea, nope sorry.
for deadly arts, there are spell casting wins in PvP already, and they dont have energy problems.
nunchuks would be fun btw

Want to play a caster sin? Use Lyssa's Aura.
Enjoy!

These are a waste of time and space. The attributes you mentioned are support attributes - they were intended to add utility to a standard weapon bar. This is made obvious by the fact that such weapons do not exist in the first place. Assassacaster bars have plagued low pvp for a long while now, they're a retardedly easy build to play, but they get significant reward for the amount of skill you put into them. They don't need a massive buff like this, the game would probably explode with a 40/40 deadly arts set.
Because signets require srs energy management.
Also, the enter key is your friend.

/signed but /nothappening aswell, I'd rather see these things go into GW2 instead of GW.
although it is a spectacular idea it would take far too much time and money, they woiuld have to implement new skin, animations, new skills, new balances they would have to totally halt GW2 and theres no doubt in my mind that 99% of exp'd GW players would like to see something new and something challenging I think they should make a new kind of PvP, or something along those lines.

I kind of asked you not to post that, I already knew it would be a waste of x and x because they are already adding things to the game.
I knew about Assassacaster, but it isn't too great because you need A/Me, when you may want to use another second profession. I'm sorry I didn't space the thing out, I was in a hurry to type it up. And I understand it may not be put in GW1, but GW2 may be nice if they could get it in.

I'd rather keep the fake weapons that are actually another type of weapons, like Kannaxai's Daggers or Shiro's Swords that look like two axes.
Want nunchakus? Pick a dagger, give it nunchaku appearance and blunt damage, and there you are, the Assassins Jitte.
I'm not seeing foci linked to mastial profession attributes, even if they are semi-casters like dervishes and assassins.
