There are so many /facepalms ive seen ign but the best one was on the second month after EOTN was released doing a DDepths mission HM and i asked the ele to ping the build and he is FULL fire .... so i ask him to change it and then he replied that fire works great here .
ME : erm .... destroyers dont burn and have +AL vs fire dude
HIM : nah i can kill them anyway
ME : sure but can you do it faster ? maybe air build or .... even better WATER build ?
HIM : sure , what build ?
ME : lol i dunno you are the ele .

At that point my clan mate pings a build with 7 CORE skills or 6 and he says he doesnt have 4 of them ... he didnt need them in his "3 years playing" with the elementalist.

Someone claiming a req 9 weapon @ 13 attribute points would do more damage than a similar req 13 weapon... Or even that a gold weapon would do more damage than a purple one with the same stats...

Phew, I'm glad you mentioned this, because I could have become another instance of this

. Incidentally I remember reading this very thing on the wiki back in January (very small damage increase for difference between req and attribute), but I can't find it there now. Maybe it just took them a while to edit the wiki if you say this behavior is more than 2 years old.

Then a guy PM'd me, and this is how the conversation went.

him: 52 gold and a started elemental rod.
me: what?
him: sorry i'm poor.
me: well that doesn't really matter...
him: so will you give it to me for 52 gold and the rod?
me: give what to you?
him: the cesta
me: you do realize i said want to buy, not want to sell, right?
him: oh, sorry. I'm poor.

him: i'll sell you a starter elemental rod.

5 minutes later...

dont diss trapping in JQ i do it alot now its so fun watching trapping the spawn points and watching the same person spawn onto about 10 traps over and over again

on Another note was doing sanctum cay a while back
i saw this warrior saying "Running mission for free" so i thought ah why not i cba to do this myself. So our full group of people expecting to have the mission ran for us went in. Once we were in the warrior says "Ok you have to clear out all the enemies for me to be able to run this mission" 4 people in the group thought this was reasonable (war included) and me and this 55 monk just spent the whole time loling at the wammo in team chat. Ofc the 55 monk was something absolutely incredible to him.

After the mission me and monk leave the group and we look on all chat "Doing desert tour for free" i looked at the name and it was the warrior. Then i got a pm from the monk just loling at him

One of the most stunning moments I've had in four years of play was when a PuG monk informed the party - who were all laying dead - that he was a *Healer* and as such, did not carry resurrect of any kind.

(Several of us in the Alliance now have monks - who all carry at least one hard rez

LOL i have people whsp me in insults or even say it in local. half if not all the time they misspell the curse words. so i usually respond with "first grow up and learn to spell and type then your insults will mean something" that usually shuts them up.

My account was gifted to me from a co-worker who had played through the 3 main campaigns and was a member of a rather experienced guild. I was rather shocked to find that all of her characters had runes of minor vigor on ALL of their armor pieces.
