What's The Stupidest Thing You've Heard While Playing Guild Wars?

Ran into an idiot like this in ascalon just now wouldn't be surprised if it's the same person. I called him a nub scammer he said its not scamming if he hasn't been reported yet then he said he does this all the time I told him this would be funny to put on guru since he said all this in local chat and he left.

And the zkeys scam...I'd really like to kick people like that.

Nah, what you do is go through the whole talking to the NPCs thing, and then when it comes time to trade you offer him 10 Ascalonian keys, and see if he's greedy enough to check the trade before accepting, just for the lulz of course...

Okay those are some of the worst builds I have ever seen, I thought adding breeze and ribbon was bad...dang O.o

Top one almost gave me an aneurysm. If there isn't a thread already for horrible builds we've encountered, that post should be the start of one.

Wish I had more to contribute to this thread, I keep Local muted for a reason. Of course there was last week when Zaishen Elite turned into a huge 9/11 conspiracy flame war out of nowhere.

This one makes me laugh. When players who have been playing for at least a year (and came from another MMO) still cling to the holy trinity. I love to see in all chat LF Tank, 2 healer monks, and 5 ele nukers...all fire. I really love to tell them a prot monk is a good replacement for one healer, they retort with "STFU n00b i have been playing for a year i know that prot monks suck!"

this is a classic conversation in all chat.

i went ahead and removed the image from my quote since it still had the name

Was just in Spamadan selling a req 8 Aegis.
Wrote a basic selll in chat log
WTS Aegis Req8 tactics........blah blah blah.....
Got a messege a minute later asking....
"What skin is it!?!?!?"
I reply'd with my messege I wrote in Trade channel "WTS Aegis Req8 tactics"
He then reply'd right after with caps lock on
"WHAT SKIN"
Again....I replyd with my trade channel messege"WTS Aegis Req8 tactics"
In caps lock, again I got a messege back
"WHAT SKIN IDIOT"?!?!?!
after that I just started to ignore him..
He then started spamming me calling me a noob, and idiot and spamming me saying
" WHAT SKIN YOU NOOB"
Before I put him on ignore, I told him to type /wiki aegis for all his noobie answers.

Surely it would have been less hassle to answer his question with "Shield of the wing style aegis" of something similar? Unless of course you like the drama...

they should rename this thread to "the place where stupid people cry about being stupid with other stupid people".

Ye he was an idiot, although there does exist countless Aegis types and this guy didn't really have the brain to figure out that it was the skin "Aegis."
However you seemed to make it harder for both him and yourself didn't you? Why didn't you just write "it's a regular Aegis" or "it's a Shield of the Wing skin Aegis" or something, just to make it clear and avoid that huge annoyance on both sides?

I seen someone trying the zkey scam thing in Balthazar Isle yesterday. I asked them if they were the scammer posted on here & mentioned zkeys actual value. They were very quiet after that
