The other day a person was giving away 4 mini pets that they said were customized, i took them and let them sit in my inventory, then just now I was looking at the Jungle Troll, Whiptail, and Temp Guard, and noticed this (only one pic here but they are the same scenario for all 3 minis):

That's from at the beginning of EotN. The hall of monuments would "customize" rather than "dedicate" pets back then.

I believe the only way to change them from customized to dedictated, to allow you to use them, is to get the person who customized them to take them to his HoM and talk to the shrine with the mini's. Can't remember exactly how it works since almost everyone changed theirs to dedicated at the time.

Also, no, it's not worth anything.

Worthless. If you try to take it out it will not work. Only way for you to use them is to get the original person to take them back to his hom and change them to dedicated. Then you can use them. I'd just delete if I were you, likely he won't do that for minis that are worth less than 1k anyway.
