50k lag spikes in between loading maps

is anyone getting 50k lag spikes in between loading maps to another area?
any tech experts here know whats going on?
i have 1 mb connection and nothing is running on my background.
sometimes it cant even load, and gives me code:005 and code:007 error which is a networking issue.
it seems like its having trouble connecting to another server when loading a map, because it stays at 0% loaded for a long time...


is it anet's server or my routing issues?
i havent changed any of my router settings or internet settings.

Ever since i got eotn a few days ago, i have been getting extreme lag.Could this be the start of the RoJ nerf?

Yeah, lag has been horrible in the last few days. I think it's something with the servers. Try resetting your connection and running out of a different district or country. It helps me a little, or at least lengthens the time between spikes. :\

everyone complains and complains. i play gw with torrents in the background and i dont limit my download speed, and my upload limit is usually at 500 kb/sec, and depending on how much im downloading the dl speed passes 1.5 megabytes/sec. While these are downloading, my ping thingy in the bottom right stays green and occasionally flickers to yellow. On top of all that, people complain that the American servers are what gives them hell and those are the ones i always play on unless my uwsc groups insist on switching to some euro district or some dead Asian area

Ya I was recently on the phone with ATT fixing my own internet issues, and when I finally got on GW I couldn't even load into any maps. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Anyone else just sitting on a loading screen at 0% and not getting any errors?

guess im not the only one, so that must means its anets server, this never happened to me before btw.

For me, i usually lag when i play on American servers. I should stick to europe when it's rush hour.

Oddly, I haven't been getting any lag at all. Usually when there are lag complaints I get the full force of it. xD

i switched to Euro -- problem solved. I'm thinking this is an American server problem

I occasionally lag out, but most of the time, it takes ages to zone The rest of the game is fine, but just zoning =\ Means that a fair few parties wont take me, when they see i dont appear after 3 mins >.<

US servers are giving me heavy lag. EU servers are perfectly fine.

I played Guild Wars in college dorms with a 2mb connection shared between 300 people. Google wasn't able to load, but I was able to play guild wars with pings around 900, theres definitely something up if u can't play on a 1MB connection.
