Hacked tonight

I got hacked earlier tonight. I got a 007 out of the blue (no lag preceding, etc) and I immediately logged back on. A little bit later, I noticed I had a zero balance in my storage chest. I also noticed that I had 197 ectos in my storage pane (not the materials pane). Some of my windows were also misplaced on the screen. I'm guessing someone bought as many ecto's from the trader as they could with the intent of trading them to another toon.

I changed my passwords. Hopefully that is the end of it, who knows.

I've since done a full a/v & malware scan on my PC, they came up clean. I know the usual 'you must have DL'd a key logger' but I'm a network engineer by trade and don't do ANYTHING of that nature on my PC's. That's what disposable VM's are for.

Anyway, just wanted to send out the warning.

I submitted a ticket to ncsoft.

As with all of these cases, all you can do is contact Support and get them to look into it (don't expect items back). If you really DID do everything right (I believe you did), then ANet might want to know about it.
