Problem with runes, interesting, IMO

PROBLEM RESOLVED, IF YOU'R HAVING THIS ISSUE, READ THE ANSWERS, THEY DO HELP!: A while back, on my Necro account, I had once had my Death Magic up to lvl 16 through runes, being a new Necro, the MM character is so appealing. Well, I've found out other uses for death magic and such and have multiple sets of armor for different scenarios and builds (I'm ascended). Well, I've managed to get my Death Magic up to 15 on a set of armor, but I just wasted more gold than I ever should have trying to get it to at least 16 . . . it's just not going! I have 2 major death runes on me, 1 minor death rune, and a head piece that has +1 death and have all attribute points possible on death magic! Anybody got a clue as to why this is? I HAVE had it to level 16 before, and I was making level 18 bone horrors. Now I have aura of the lich and would like to be able to make level 19 bone horrors, and even if possible, level 20! Going a little powerhungry, I know, but, what can I say? I want to build an army, sometimes and I want it to be strong!

You need a Sup Rune of Death and a face mask that gives +1 death. That will get ya to 16. Other than that, you'd need a weapon with a +1 death (20% chance) or eggs or something like that (don't remember all the little boosts you can get atm).

Superior Rune (+3), Heagear (+1), And 12 attribute points (+12) = 16

Golden Eggs +1 to all Attr. Pts. for 5 minutes.

Candy Corn +1 to all Attr. Pts. for 10 minutes.

Those plus the aforementioned Sup rune with +1 head piece can get you to 18 Death magic.

runes are not stacking. you can not have EX 2 major death runes and reep the +2 twice. as was mentioned about 12 standard +3 sup death +1 head peice. then consumables to ramp it up further still

OKAY :d You guys cured me! I see what you were saying and it's totally right! So, the higher the rune you have on you, it cancels out all smaller runes . . . sad thing is, even if you have major runes on everything except a superior rune on one thing, it still takes away all that health . . . that's so stupid! But, I guess you can call ME stupid for letting it happen. Thank you very much, guys, now I can be that much stronger and a LOT smarter

Hmm, level 16 you say... Never bothered to look into that before. I'm gonna have super powerful, squishy heroes now!

I know, I'm lazy and slow on many things when dealing with this game. For example, I just got razah (that its name?) and anton tonight. So I finally have all the heroes. Took me about 12 minutes to get razah. Gotta love gaze of fury.

PS: I'm now inlove with Cyan the fire ele henchie. Her along with Vekk, my fire ele decimates mobs in no time! Now I just need to get builds/runes and weapons + upgrade armor for all 26 heroes. (well, 23 as Livia,Vekk and Ogden are semi finished)

Corrected your post. Seems to me you know how to play a game, opposed to all the people rushing throught the content and clamoring to Anet about what they have to do now.
