Kurzick Bureaucrat and Luxon Scavenger
Helix Dreadlock
I purpose that they make atleast one of Each available in Kaineng Center. The reason being is people may have been able to acquire the factions for the reward, but cannot make it to the Echovald Forest and/or Jade Sea. Even if you aren't that far ahead, and need to capture a skill, for example, then why would you have to spend a while to complete the Storyline when it could be there at your convenience. And I know it sounds lazy, but you may be stuck in an area you cannot advance, and you're in dire need of the skill. And if you need it from your guild hall, you may have r5 Kurzick and no r1 Luxon, and you are in a Luxon Guild, you can't go to the Guildhall to capture it. And you may find a guild you like, but can't leave to get a guest invite at another Guildhall, and/or people may decline your request. It's just silly, KC is where you can get your books, BMP items, storage, main quests, ect. Why can't you get your skills there? I'm thinking general knowledge here people, not do some weird item, just as simple as going to KC to get the skill, not advancing in storyline or joining a different guild.

If you get the faction for that skill for one character on another character, Anet even went ahead and gave you a faction guy in your guild hall to help you out. If your guild is Luxon and you want Kurzick, then either you're in the wrong guild or you should stop going against the grain and get a Luxon skill. Neither issue is Anet's fault.
To me this is just as lazy as saying "I have a character that beat Factions, so I want Elite Canthan armor on my mesmer who's at Vizunah Square". If you want to abuse PvE-only skills, the least you should have to do is get that character to where the related titles can actually be progressed.

whats so hard about getting a guest invite?

I agree Helix, they need to be added. The rest of you say it simply "get a guest invite or get a guild" well, easy for you to say but some people who wanna get these services don't want to be bothered in joining a guild, or are short for time. Therefore, someone flying solo, playing the game by themselves or like i said, don't want to join a guild, can just purchase these things themselves. I've had times where I just want to enjoy the game by myself and not be forced to join some guild. I do love AMP though, they are more of a "real" alliance because there isn't any immaturity like some of those guilds full of 5 year olds with too much admin power.

Be lucky you can get the skill at all without even going to Cantha. You can make a Paragon and have enough faction to acquire a Luxon/Kurzick skill and get Save Yourselves without going anywhere but the guild hall. Kinda silly for a character to have a skill from an allegiance you have never talked to. Yes, I think you are being lazy, and this isn't needed. They already gave us the guild hall NPCs, we don't need more.

Is it even possible to get faction points, without being in faction area? *confused*
And if you are r5 kurz, and 0 lux, as the example you gave, what are you doing in a lux guild? o_O

Helix, you are my boy, but I have to object. In my opinion, the PvE skills are supposed to be - as far as the storyline goes - basically "earned" from experience fighting alongside the faction you have sided with. This goes the same - in my book - for Asuran, Sunspear, Norn, all the PvE skills, actually!
I mean, take a step back, and look:
- Core skills are the most basic, and can be acquired anywhere.
- Campaign skills are specific to the continent.
- PvE skills are gained through experience with one specific fighting group.
This all makes sense!
(You're still my boy, dude)

Why does it even matter which faction you're in? You can get both the luxon and Kurzick version of a skill, but you can't equip them both at the same time. So there's no point in getting them both.
If you're in a luxon guild, get the luxon version. If you're in a Kurzick guild, the version for you is the Kurzick one. It's that simple! And if you're not in a guild, get a guest invite. Problem solved! But, if you're to introverted or anti-social to do that, make your own guild, get a Guild Hall, get ONE character to either HzH or cavalon, and align your 1-person guild with whichever one you've gotten to.
