hey guys i was just wonder if these temps are normal for a non stressed computer,
i have a gtx 260 core 216 with no ocing and the fan at 61%, i dont really want to increase it anymore because it can get pretty loud, there are 2 120mm fans on the case which are both running at medium settings, the cpu is e8400 wolfdale oced to 3.6ghz with stock cooling. so what do you think?
oh and its kinda warm here as well.

Those look fine to me for idle comp.

The graphics card temp is great for Idle. The CPU's with stock cooling are also at a normal range.

ok thanks guys.

reduce the fan speed on your GTX260 for lower noise, the temperatures you have are low anyhow

The CPU temps seem suspiciously low to me for something OC'D by 600 MHz. Does coretemp ( http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ ) give the same temperatures? The programmes which come with the motherboard software are usually not very accurate.

yes coretemp gives the same reading, ~38,~40 but i think i know why, this is the cpu at idle which means its only running at 2.6 ghz, only when its stressed it uses the whole 3.6ghzs

I think what might become a problem are the load temperatures. Since you're running on stock cooling they might become very hot, you might want to check those out.

there actually not too terrible, the gfx card gets to about 60-65 and the cpu gets to around 55-60 each core, which is fairly good considering the fans for the gfx is at 60% and the cpu is oced to 3.6
p.s this is from running like crysis and crysis warhead maxed out, meaning 8x AA for crysis and 16x for warhead.
