are there people who bought the game solely for PvPing?

well like the title says, I'm intrested, are there players who bought all the campaigns and such, and are solely PvPers? playing only in PvP characters, with no intention of completing the Campaigns or to doing PvE, because either non interest in PvEing or a lack of time for it?

I'm not one, but I'm sure there are quite a bit of people out there who did buy all the campaigns for PvP solely. I wouldn't be surprised if a few people tried PvE but decided they liked PvP and only do that now.

yeah but in the early days you had to pve to unlock/cap skills or get certain stats on an item. Lots of people pve to get certain nf armor or high end gear that they haven't unlocked even though they hate pve. I believe the term used to describe this class of player is heterosexual.

You'll actually find most of the good PvP'ers play a lot more than the majority of PvE'ers.

There are plenty of people who buy the PvP version of the game and have access to skills from all campaigns and obviously only PvP because they aren't able to do anything else even if they had the urge to.

There are 0 players who bought the actual campaigns and then never stepped foot in PvE who actually play the game for more than 2 hours a week. That would just be a waste of money because you could have spent far less (what is it 20 dollars?) to get the PvP only version.

I myself bought the game, played PvE for about a year and have spent the rest of my time in PvP. I do occassionaly pop into the PvE world, but I have never farmed or even pugged grouped with players. I played PvE with two other friends I knew from school and we henched our way through the campaigns, and now I just H/H dungeons when I'm really bored. I pretty much was exclusively PvP for the last year and a half until about last month when I pretty much quit the game because I couldn't take the meta any longer. So now I just log on and watch matches and occassionaly do a dungeon run.

So yea, for a long time I would call myself someone who PvP'd exclusively and did nothing but, and I have never done anything that serious PvE'rs do.

I have proph + pvp access kit only and I'm happy
I just find PvE tedious with all the running around and killing something that isn't even a challenge (well i don't know about other campaigns)
the only reason i got pvp access kit is because i have tried pvp for about three months with proph only (most difficult experience ever), and I wanted to try other forms and still be competent
usually i just play casual forms like RA, TA, JQ, AB, but I like to do HB (many people would disagree, but I'm satisfied with it). I'm not really interested in higher forms like GvG or HA
Sometimes, I do pve but its very very very rarely and i only spend five minutes before i get bored

I'm not one of them but I wasn't much of a PvP player back then, I only got into PvPing through guild wars.

I didn't originally buy the game four years ago for PvP exclusively but I only play this game for PvP/GvG now. I still pve sometimes, but it's mostly only as a casual thing when I'm not gvging or to make my characters look cool for when I gvg basically.
