Nothing revolutionary here, but I thought I would share the build I use to farm feathers in Jaya Bluffs using my primary character, a Dervish...
The build is a basic Vengeful Was Khanhei one and uses Dervish Earth Prayers to do bonus damage to the Sensali. I am sure the build can be tweaked some more but the basics are there for a fun, relatively fast way of farming the sensali for crests and feathers, as well as low level golds (for title) and runes (including minor soul reaping, vigors, radiants and attunements to name a few).
The run is done in NM as feathers and runes are the target, and the build isnt designed for HM or other areas.
My runs have been averaging between 70 and 120 feathers...havent timed it but really not that long (I would say < 20 mins if I dont muck around salvaging and such).
The build:
Dervish/Ritualist
Attributes:
Restoration 12
Earth prayers 16 (12+1+3)
Remainder in Mysticism if dervish
Armor / Equipment:
Radiants and attunements + sup earth prayers (or sup restoration if ritualist)
Max. armor possible
Restoration staff (Bogroots is ideal as also get +60 health)
or 40/40 restoration set
...gets about 35 energy total and 4 pips which is fine for the build.
Skills:
1) Vengeful Weapon
2) Vengeful Was Khanhei
3) Dust Cloak
4) Staggering Force
5) Mystic Sandstorm
6) Signet of Pious Light
7 & 8) Optional
Optionals include:
Eremite's Zeal or Vampirism or others (havent really tried many)
Usage:
Exit from Seitung Harbor in NM into Jaya Bluffs
Run to groups of Sensali (the run has been explained to death elsewhere and is pretty obvious when out there), then;
1) Aggro;
2) Use Vengeful Weapon until the Sensali are bunched up next to you and you are taking some decent damge;
3) Cast Vengeful Was Khanhei to maintain health and steal their health;
4) Cast Dust Cloak and Staggering Force enchantments to inflict massive earth damage (the sensali will take about 100+ damage per cast as weak to earth damage);
5) Release both earth prayer enchantments with Mystic Sanstorm for another earth spike and they should be nearly all gone, except a few stragglers which can be removed with another round of earth enchantment spikes or spamming vengeful weapon with staff/wand;
6) Use Signet of Pious Light if getting low on health (rare);
7) Use Eremites Zeal if need energy in a group (not really needed).
Anyway just sharing for those with primary dervishes that want to try out a feather farming build. Sorry for lack of graphics but I dont use the forum much so dont know how to use them.
Enjoy or criticise at your leisure

I'd give it a try, but I'm too lazy to go cap VwK, and I'm not far enough into Factions to do so with my Dervish anyway :P
I used a Dervish/Elementalist build to farm feathers, myself. There probably are more efficient builds, but a 20 minute run nets me an average of 110-140 feathers, a gold or two, and usually some dye. Hence, it's good enough for me, and I already had all of the skills, so yay for even more win.
Ogakkgp6aymUPo7F713F+l4F0FPE
10+2+1 Scythe Mastery, 9+1 Mysticism, 9 Earth Prayers, 8 Earth Magic; I also have runes of Vitae and Major Vigor, and a mix of survivor and radiant insignias.
AoB gives extra armor and movement speed (hence more survivability when fighting and it's easy to dash past Yetis), Mystic Regen, Mystic Vigor, and Vital Boon keep up your health, Eternal Aura recharges AoB and dishes out heavy damage, Sliver Armor also helps mow them down, VS adds to the damage as well as your healing, and Dwayna's Touch can be used if needed though it's not really necessary. I might replace it with another damage-dealing enchantment.
Nothing really special, and even if you slip with keeping enchantments always stacked you should be fine. Just use a zealous scythe for energy since casting everything will have you pretty low on that early on while fighting.

Rather than start another thread I thought I'd just add an alternative to this one for anyone searching for a Derv primary build. I am working on Drunkard on my Dervish and thought I'd make a feather farmer so I can make cash whilst drinking my grog.
The build is for nm farming in Jaya Bluffs on the Canthan noob island. It uses only Dervish skills and kills the mobs of bird things very fast. Since it works by loading you up with enchants, then stripping them all at once, you get back most of the energy you just spent creating the spike due to your high Mysticism, so are ready to go again almost immediately.
Skills
Mysticism 12+1+1
Earth Prayers 12+1
Avatar of Balthazar
Sand Shards
Vital Boon
Mystic Regeneration
Aura of Thorns
Eternal Aura
Heart of Holy Flame
Mystic Sandstorm
Template code: OgCisysM5eZeJexedd1DOexfB
Equipment
* Max armour
* Radiant insignia
* Staff +20 energy & 20% longer enchants to cast all your enchants for the spike.
Usage
* Cast Avatar of Balthazar.
* Approach mobs of bird things & cast 2,3,4 in order.
* Gather aggro and give them a few seconds to group around you.
* Cast in order 5,6,7 then 8 to spike.
* Recast 5,7,8 again if they are not all dead (rare unless your aggro sucks.)
* Pick up your drops
* Use Vital boon and mystic regen in between mobs if your health is low. but it really shouldn't be.
The build can easily kill the Yeti's too, just stand next to the healers. It's kinda pointless however.

i use a similair build, but i dont use sand shards
10-13min runs
umm, off top of my head
balthazar elite
eternal aura
mystic regen
signet of pious light
dustcloak
staggering force
heart of holy flame
light of deldrimor or anything really, they all usually die before i get to last skill :P(could add armor of sanctity to basically take zero dmg)
basically cast balth, and mystic regen
run in and tank
hit eternal aura
heart of holy, then signet to heal and start burning them
then your other enchants to finish them off
if you need to heal use your sig to heal and get energy and cause the effects of dust cloak etc....
i find addin the burning and not using sand shards gives better energy managment
and more drops feather wise cause of the degen.. dunno.. maybe just me
running 15earth and 14 myst.. i had a set of pvp armor for my derv runnin this bomber build in AB

Seems almost unfair doesn't it, the poor bird things die so fast
I have a similar build for JQ shrine bombing. Load up on enchants, shadow step into shrine, strip them all off and die, taking out all the npcs at the same time. Its not quite as efficient or effective as the N/A dark aura bomber, but its still pretty good fun and makes a nice change from cookie cutters.
