HM solo farm for feathers, with the bonus of chests/golds/tomes/lockpicks/skree wings (black moa pet). I'll be checking it out.

yeah been doing this for over a year, really good farm. Theres a flat part of the cliff stand next to it. All the melee skrees will bunch up nicely then the healers, next take out the boss then the rest.
heres a question all of the Serpentine axes ive gotten from these guys have been q9 thats 4 in all. The question is do they only come in q9 or have i just been lucky?

Also the on the other half of this area is the Heket boss and mob, also a good farm, but difficult because of the corpse bombs. I used to do this but stopped because of the continuous running away from corpses. Does have the advantage of being closer to Tihark though so does cut a minute or so off of the farm run time. I was thinkning of trying this out with a 600/smiter build, which probably will work. Has anyone figured out an easy way around this?

NB: a good run for runes, I like these because i really like getting those Vigor rune suprises and Im working towards Wisdom. Also a viable place to chest run as there is always a chest takes a minute or 2.

A.S.F you`ve done it again and as always a good solid guide - top notch.

Kaitoa - it can be done as 600/smite but if i recall you need the mantra version for tank as the skree can interupt - tho i could be wrong an thinking of skree elsewhere , you may need to check.
Gd thing with 600/smite is you dont need to arrange the foes to kill them - but you do need to watch skree healers and avoid pulling 2 mobs with healers together.2 skree healers are a pain and takes longer to wear them down.
Also yes starting from Tihark is easier in my books and possibly faster tho ive never tried to time it.

ahbuh - the key to healers if needed on sin - you can get 2 healers in 2 mobs together as long as the ranger skree outnumber the warrior skree.
1. grab the mobs an pull together but note where healers are .
2. sliver/degen the melee skree to death.
note - sometimes healers will move in to heal the target .. just let them
3. when melee is gone you have healers and ranged left so go for healers and often they`ll die easily
4. wipe the rangers
5. repeat as needed

Can take a few runs to get used to the skree and how they position.
Btw I tend to farm skree with an all out attack build - the standard a/e sliver but replacing vipers and RF with BuH and intensity ( or AOS ).
Also if your feeling adventorous you can drop intensity and add a heal and after skree go after the djinns with the djinn boss ( its near where the hidden treasure resides ) - they have ethers and a mix of djinns in a nice area next to bottm rez shrine .

The paragons have wild throw, making it pretty damn difficult to 600/smite.

its a fun farm when your bored and need to see something different.

i usually just use the sliver and ebsoh, kill about 40-45 then rezone and repeat, having tried rad and vipers (though air of superiority is nice in the beginning since they drop so fast) before just seemed alittle too energy intensive.

when my sin finally gets around to doing NF i will definitely try this farm...ASF, ty for the tutorial - always nice to see what you have going on.

600/smiting is probably easier now with pve only skills ebon sin or finish him! to kill leftover healer (a la DTSC - but I do remember having manta of concentration on my bar so maybe room for only 1 pve-only skill)....skree are fun to 600/smite against and they seem to drop lots of runes. Re: serpentine reavers - funny you say that, the only 2 i've ever gotten were in vabbi (one from chest, one drop) both gold q9.

Tried it. They keep getting rezzed. The first time got some good drops. Only the first time. Thank god the *anti-farming code* is gone :\

Anyway I didn't find the flat place where they bunch up.

Farm is pretty good. Nice for armor drops and what have you. Though, the new WSR! makes it annoying when trying to finish off the healers so you can rad field them.

I remember chest farming areas for serpentine reavers when they came out and I believe not all of them are q9. Grats any way on number 5.

That's where I farm for the Skree Wings easily all the times, but got bored of it. I found out about this spot when I was capping for the Paragon's elite skill and taking the quest.

Instead of making another thread I thought ide mention another spot i used to do but havnt in a while. That farming spot is the Jahai fortress, can be found in jahai bluffs, contains a whole heap of Kournan soldiers and an elemental boss. I have included a map of the area just exit from Command post and head towards the ele boss.

Ran this farm off and on the last week, not a problem at all, made decent money

well ive done several runs and the rate of succes seems to come from how many Skree Singers spawn...but if thats not the case then tell me how to get a clean run

Any recent farms for this? Now the paragons seem way tougher, and of course perma and splinter have been nerfed since... I'm still playing around, no luck so far (the mass res thing is really messing me up hardcore!)

I did see somewhere on guru recently someone give a reply and harpies was in it - had 2 links which gave video , err cant think properly but was either sin or mes farming them.
They still should be farmable , possibly even with terratank or a bonder.

edit - cant find anything on guru but i did find a vid on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wN9F...eature=related i know its over a yr old but many 330 rt farms are still going and its possible if you check thru the other related vids you may find something more current.

I tried it in HM on my rit - it worked OK, but had some problems with the last monster in group (causing all other skree to get res'd) - it never killed the griffons. Every once in a while, I'd get nuked to death for no apparent reason. At one point, I sat there almost 2 minutes, while it didn't do squat against a MOB of beetles. I did score about 3 skree wings and a geode in a 6 minute run tho...

EDIT: I did use PI instead of reversal, as in the video...

Also, FWIW, I tried some spirit spam builds, and also some newer perma builds, but the 25 damage limit was a major issue (best was with MOP/barbs - but 2 hits and the MOB scattered)...

Theres a lot of old farms that i reckon are waiting to be rediscovered and many that are able still to be done ( like fastfoot in nf on mes or nec solo ) but it seems no one really is trying them - except CE Devilman who does pop up every now and then with an adjusted build for an old farm.

Off top of my head the only way i can see to get round the rez is to get a mate who`s a ranger ( said mate but you can take hero - less fun - or duel account ) and take something like frozen soil / edge of extinction and maybe summon spirits to combat the monks rez.

I just remembered, that when completing Tihark mission in HM (as I just did on 4 characters for the zaishen challenge), that it tends to drop 1-3 skree wings per 7 minute run. Not bad - 500g and 2 silver zaishen coins to boot!
