VSF ideas after nerf.

Well as you all know RoJ will now cause scatter, and cry of pain is half degen damage which is a lot less and won't stack.
So, now comes the time to start figuring out quicker ways of killing all the monsters.
An idea would be for rojers/cryers to run ice imp for the deep freeze potential. That way they will be slowed and still have to stay in the RoJ aoe longer. There is also the fragility concept which may be a bit harder to pull off depending on the situation.
Anyways here we can brainstorm ideas on how to optimize the vsf run after these nerfs.

actually it said "Heroes are more likely to scatter" not sure if this still applies to Mobs... please tell us if anyone has tested?

You can still run one cryer, one DF snare and several rojers.
Me/E cryer/snare - Deep Freeze / Fragility / Cry / Accumulated Pain / Fewered Dreams / Hypochondria / Gole
Mo/N Roj/Enfeebling Blood/Signet of Agony/Chilblains/Plague Sendinng
Mo/E Roj/Shell Shock/Blinding Flash
Mo/Me Roj/Signet of Infection/Technobable/Aecho
Mo/Me Roj/ YMLAD / Aecho
Can work.
Perma can that Crystal & Crystal to help out, but that would require Bip necro to power him and make run harder, but that necro can carry conditions, se he will get some use and place of Mo/N rojer.

at one time was this not done using Ele aoe skills and meteor shower and Brambles

this was easy fast run with any AoE spells before everyone started cry roj, not hard to keep doing

Roj is still better because it is armor ignoring.
However, MS could fit right in now just to keep stuff in AoE, but that can be done on one RoJ

I'm pretty sure it only stated that heroes are more likely to scatter from RoJ - Not enemies.

Yup, RoJ definitely scatters mobs. Just tried it - they scatter like hell.

I wonder if every damage character just brings ice imps if it will be enough without the need of a glyph of renewal deep freeze elementalist.
Perhaps instead of that you could use the ele skill that will cause knockdown if enemies are moving quicker than normal? Glyph of renewal that with no slow downs and you should be able to keep them perma knocked down.
Could also get the ranger or ritualist to bring earthbind to extend the knockdown period?

the main build before RoJ was one sin runner, 2 monks, the rest eles. One ele has deep freeze, all have savannah heat echoed with meteor storm, need a good caller

i miss the heats + MS days. like, day 5 of VSF. and yeah, RoJ scatters everything. though its still fun to see god rays destroy everything.
