Hm... you can use an Elite Tome and a Priest of Balthazar to see which ones are left. I just set as secondary a profession with no elites sort them by elite, and then I can easily compare them.
the only problem is when your secondary has elites, since there is no way to sort subcategories, and they get mixed up and it's harder to check. That's why I suggested this:

As for the locations, the Wiki is the proper tool.

I just made myself a checklist the good ol' fashioned way with pen & paper when I did skill hunter, and crossed them off the list as I went.
I can't see anet spending their time adding something like this to the game when there are numerous ways online to aquire such a list. |
I bought a notepad wrote guildwars on the front and note everything on importance.
Festival collectables.
Elites
Character Birthdays
In fact anything I might need, I even have the original dye mixes noted on one page.
Do it for most strategy or rpg type games.
I had the same problem until I put every elite skill in the game into an Excel spreadsheet. This is back when I only had like 3 elite skills. When I capped one, I'd delete it so I'd know what I had left. Then I'd look it up on Wiki, find where it was, and CAP!
So while this would be a good idea, everyone else who has Legendary Skill Hunter found some way to make it work, so I'm sure you'll figure something out.
