Underworld

Hello all, I need some help regarding the Underworld. I am a bit new to this Underworld, and I have never been there. I need someone to help me through there, teach me how to fight the stuff there, and I also need some builds for there. My only characters are ranger and dervish, so builds for either of those would be preferred. I can get there in my ranger, and will be able to make it there VERY soon in my dervish. I have absolutely no idea what to do there, so I desperately need help. If you want to help you can comment here or message me ingame.

Ahh I already have that build lol. I don't like it at all. I will give it a try in the Underworld though and see how it works there. Still need help with other stuff there though..

EDIT: OK I just tried this out in the underworld, one bladed Aatxe attacked me and I kept all the enchantments up and everything right, just how the build is supposed to be, did not work at all. I died, and barely did any damage at all to the Aatxe. I'm gonna need a different build for this, one that kills quicker and can survive well..

Are you trying to farm it, or what? Also, melee=don't attack Aatxes. It's not going to go well :P

Wiki says there's a splinter barrager in FoWSC so why don't you try that?

Yeah I'm pretty new to this farming stuff. I was looking on pvx wiki though and noticed two dervish builds that look promising. One is an Avatar of Dwayna UW farm that could easily be modified as a FoW farm, and the other is an Avatar of Balthazar UW farm. How well do these function? Also I could try to do the FoW splinter barrage farm, my ranger already has all the right skills. What is FoWSC though lol? Is FoW easier than UW?

Oh yeah, and whatever happened to trapping? Everyone used to talk about it, now nobody says anything about it. Is it good for UW or FoW?

Read http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10257299 its a post on 55/ss with a guide for the whole Uw.Before you say its for 55/ss - it covers all of uw including the quests and gives an excellent insight into what your facing regardless of your profession.Its become my Uw bible and has helped a lot of players out.

Your best bet is to avoid the FoW and just farm the Ice Wastes in the Underworld.

The AoD build for farming smites is pretty solid. Killing the grasps in the chamber may take some practice, but once you get that down, the wastes shouldn't be too hard. Just make sure to avoid the coldfire nights (learn their patrols!)

I imagine that the entire run using the AoD build takes about 15-20 minutes. On average, you will get 1-2 ectos and roughly 1.5k in regular drops. 1-2 ectos per 15/20 minutes is still roughly 6 ectos/hour.

6 ectos @ 4,300 gold each = 25,800
1,500 gold in drops x 3 runs = 4,500
less 3 offerings @ 1,000 gold each = (3,000)

Total profit per hour = = 27,300

Not bad at all.
