I seem to remember you saying exactly the same thing a few weeks ago, and you'll get the same responses.
If you don't want to take advice and research yourself what's next in the quest line then no one can help you without dragging you through stuff.

Just go and explore, there quests and stuff to do, Theres primary quests to do, which will get you moving through the game. You need to explore things for yourself. Wiki is also your friend. Without you telling us what primary quest you might be on we can't help.

Simple: Gain more experience and you will be able to do more in Guild Wars. When I started playing, I was bored as well. But when I got better at the game, it got really fun. Now after 1900+ hours, I am still active in the game and have a great time.

I personally love levelling new characters, the starter area's are more fun than most people seem to think imo.
The game gets much better, but if you feel like giving up/ still haven't made progress since you last posted you need to either join a helpful guild (of which you'll sadly have trouble finding in game), or as said above research the storylines and everything.

If you are bored and don't want to play stop playing...

As mentioned, you might feel that there is fewer and fewer things to do and that you get nowhere. And maybe that you don't see a story? Then do primary quests/missions to progress in story, which not only gives you more quests but also new, more challangeing areas to explore.
If you still are bored, try to make a PvP character and see if that is funnier, if not, the game might not be for you, and that would be sad, cause it is a good game

hey... U can always quit. We won't search for things that might interest you in this game. No one cares if U play it or not so unless U do-quit.

This is usually where people uninstall and go back to WoW. Natural selection.

A few threads of you complaining.

Maybe you should just go play Hello Kitty Online. You honestly shouldn't set the game down and make a judgment until you get to level 20. If the pace of Prophecies is too slow, which is understandable, think about starting from Factions or Nightfall. Factions will level you up the quickest. You can also consider getting Eye of the North since it has the fastest way to level up once you get 10 and know where to go. I usually don't recommend that to first timers since it takes the fun out of the game though.

I am new to the game and am still in pre searing time....there is alot to do in this game just from what I have seen over the last couple weeks....Wiki is a great friend and I have been working with it to do alot of quests....my only vent would be the lack of friendly people to help out....I always ask nicely and yet still get called names (noob) and laughed at.....THAT would be the reason I would leave the game....not for lack of anything to do.....
talon994
How many of these threads are you going to make? If you don't like the game, then put it down and play something else....no reason for you to make 4-5 of these pointless threads every week or so.
Covah
In your other threads which were made in May you said you just started. Make up your mind. If you are bored of doing the main point of the game stop playing. It's not pay to play so you're not forced to play. Stop making useless threads QQing about useless things.

@ OP: if you're still in pre-searing, leave it ffs. That's only a tutorial for the larger tutorial ahead of you. Wait until you get to level 20 and Crystal Desert, then you can get the full scope of GW. And if you only have Prophecies, buy the rest if you like the game.

Quests are a key part of Guild Wars. While the game also has a large number of excellent missions with immersive cinematics, you can't play through the game without doing quests.
Sure, a few quests are long or boring, but if you have continuous problems with them then you might just be playing the wrong genre.

The simple truth is, if someone calls you a "noob", you should just ignore it. Everyone is a newbie or a noob on one game or another. No matter how good you are in a game, someone is always better. No matter how badly you suck at a game, someone is always worse.
I could get beat by hundreds of pvp'ers in this game and then turn around and destroy them at other games like tekken, streetfighter, Metal Gear Solid 4 and so on. Like wise, I could beat them horribly on the games I am very good at and they could turn around and punk me out on MMO games.
Everyone learns and developes at different speeds and being the best at a video game doesn't mean anything unless it makes you enough money to pay all your bills. Which for almost everyone, it doesn't.
Honestly, the people who use the term "noob" in hopes to bother/insult others are pathetic. But they're unable to see it for whatever reason. Just remember, who are they, that their words should bother or affect you? Unless you are seeking approval or to be accepted into the gaming community of jerks, it shouldn't matter at all.
As for the OP. Dude, guildwiki is the only way you're going to learn how to play this game. There are not enough people who are outgoing enough to walk you through it unless you can pinpoint specific problems. If you ask a question in-game, most of the time people will say "wiki is your friend". Even guildmates sometimes reply with that same line.
For me, I use wiki when I need to and 99.999% of the time never ask anything from the general public as its self destructive. The majority of gamers are jerks who are not worth wasting effort on. This is why online gaming is fast becoming an antisocial activity and another reason why henchies and heroes are a requirement.
I'v done almost everything in this game myself. So you can do the same. -And I am far from "pro" or "good" at guildwars.

@BeauxStar:
I'm afraid there are going to be jerks in every online community. If you're willing to learn and improve, then, no, you are not a noob. This doesn't mean you won't make stupid mistakes, or use bad builds (we all were there once, right?), but one stupid mistake =/= bad player. IMO, you should be ignoring those people calling you a noob.
@ OP:
...I remember you having the exact same complaint in various older threads. I remember people giving you the link to wiki; I remember people offering help. If you're in Presear, get out of there already; maybe that's why you're being bored. If you're not... well, I really don't know - level 8 seems like really, really early to be bored if it's your first character. (If it's your fourth, I could understand.)
