A few suggestions regarding equipment packs
Tender Wolf
I know that the new equipment packs are only for armor and weapons, and I enjoy the extra space, but why not make them for whatever you want? Basically another bag/belt pouch in your inventory. Some people don't have 10 armors for one character, but carry around things like sweets that remove DP and such. And believe me, with all the things like that available thanks to Nicholas and the Zaishen coins, they can add up.
So why not make equipment packs carry whatever you want in them instead of just armor and weapons? And while we're on the subject, we still need to have a special storage slot JUST for mini pets. They still take up a lot of room, and some of us like to buy them not just to put in our Hall of Monuments but to keep them because we collect them.
So I'm thinking maybe something like the material storage but for mini pets. And of course let them stack because some people get 5 whiptails in a row for first year birthdays and you can't even give those away anymore. And of course have a slot for each pet, just like materials. Or just something to hold them anyway.
Okay, think that covers it. Thoughts?

I thought it was strange when we first got the update that it was for armor + weaps only. But its probably too late to change it now. First thing i tried doing was shoving all my ded minis in there ¬_¬

It takes up less server space to just code them for armor/weapons.
I find it hard to believe you don't have at least 10 weapons/armor on a character. If that's really true then you don't really need more storage.
Minipet storage wouldn't be a bad idea but it's not that necessary.

I appreciate the equipment packs as well. They're pretty cool if you want to make storing your weps/armour on each character.
There's been several suggestions for storage options for minipets/consumables/books and every other category of item in the game. And no matter what happens, there's never enough storage space.
It's constantly a matter of clutter management, and even with nine storage panes and mats storage, there's still requirement for more.
I guess it's just a matter of better managing what you have. Using alts for storage is one way I suppose, but having something like a library in the HoM as was suggested many moons ago or having the ability to store minis in the HoM and pull out copies of deds when you want would be one way to go... anyway, i think having 180 storage spots and still not having enough is probably just whining. I'll shut up now.

Agreed! Or at least make it so that when you pick up a weapon drop it goes 1st to your equip pack and then overflows to your regular backpack.

they couldn't add this additionnal eq pack to other inventory pack in the global view (F9) so they decided said : lets make it different and hold only some kind of items so it won't look too obvious or weird it isn't among the other inventory bags in the global view (F9)...

For the equipment packs, /notsigned. If you don't need all the slots, don't get the 20 slot bag. Since we've got more storage, you can throw all the useless stuff you aren't going to use like tonics, tradable collectable items like battle commendations, and minipets in storage and take consumables if you're not good enough.
For minipet storage, read the other few million threads that seem to pop up every now and then.

Tender Wolf, I know for a fact that you bought multiple character look changing tokens. Why not use it on storage if you needed it so badly? Oh wait, I bet you did and filled those storages, so buy new character slots for mules. OH WAIT! You have like 15 freaking accounts that you got from your e-friends who stopped playing!
Tell me, why are YOU of all people complaining about storage when you probably have more than anyone else in GW?

LoL I think you answered her question for her. She has so many accounts, she plays far more than you obviously, and maybe managing all those accounts is a bit of a pain. Maybe she actually has need of more storage on her main account. In fact, if she has so many weps/armours then i'm not surprised she's looking for more storage.
GW addict I believe is the term I would use to describe her if your descriptions are accurate, can you blame her for wanting to be more organised?

I think Linsey actually did say it was due to server space that it was limited... may be wrong though.
Linsey has said in the past that she was going to see if she can make a container (aka "book-item" such as the incubator) for miniatures. Seeing how it didn't get made in the April update, I'd guess it wasn't possible. Mini pets are what's taking up my space right now, so what we really need is something special for them. Perhaps Linsey is still working on that pet thing that she mentioned. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
Caballo: Yep, I'm very organized. And I just have two accounts, the others are shared. I'm hardly on them; I'm referring to my main account. And you're right, I don't want to have to transfer items between accounts just when I need them. That would be a major pain.

FYI you can only have one mini pet out at a time, unless they're ultra rares, merch them, storage problem solved.

ppl are so much ungrateful...
ppl QQ for no armor space - anet gives them equipment packs
ppl QQ for more storage space - anet gives that extra free tab
now you QQ again for space...

the Puppeteer, I'm not QQing, I'm making a suggestion. If I were QQing I'd say things like "they call THIS more storage?! wtf epic fail!" I'm simply suggesting an alternative but I didn't say I'm not content with what we have.
IronSheik, you can't merch mini pets, or salvage them. You can sell them to other players and perhaps delete them but that's about it.

Some people in-game collect miniatures, some armour, some weapons and some colelct practically nothing. But yeah, if you want to only store some minis that's your call. Some people wanna store all their minis. go figure
IronSheik
Merching minipets doesn't have to literally mean selling them to a merchant. Don't know how salvaging came into this either.
But if you're requesting this change just for minipets, you may as well drop them in an explorable.
And Caballo, I try not to collect useless things. Books are like minipets, dedicate/read them, then keep your favorites.

Here is an idea:
Make whatever is in your equipment pack stay in your equipment pack even if you remove it from your inventory and put it in storage. This would make transferring shields or whatever b/w characters much less time consuming and give equipment packs a unique characteristic.

Yeah, this probably won't be changed since the name of "Equipment Pack" is mainly referring to weapons and armor. Throwing in materials, though it makes sense in real life for things like hide squares to be equipment, does not fit the description.

If equipment packs allowed non armor-custom weapons to be stored, then almost no one would use them for armor. They would become just another clutter bag for pack rats.
My basic layout is.
Backpack - ID and Salvage kits and recent drops before ID/salvo. Also items I plan to keep and stick in storage.
Belt pouch - Currently needed quest items, keys/lockpickers.
Bag 1 - empty for items I am going to merch.
Bag 2 - Books.
EQ Packs - My weapons.
I don't have multipul armor sets, although when I get the 20 slot EP I might get pvp and farming armor sets. Bringing my total to 3 armor sets.
