Kinda curious if anyone had this issue.

My Dad just had his first year playing GW, but when he logged in, he didn't get his present. Checked age and everything and it said 12 months. Even went through all his characters, checked all their inventories, and check the chest, and nothing. No present at all.

Been a few days now and still nothing. Wondering if they stopped giving out first year presents or if there is a glitch or something. Anyone else have this issue?

Any help would be appreciated

Wait alittle sometimes it takes couple of hours or so....or was it a day.. anyway he will get it just be patient

EDIT: you sure it was couple of days?....Never had anything like that happend to me.. just wait some more and then send a ticket to ANEt

I think i heard somewhere sometimes you would have have to wait a week sometimes to get ur b-day present

Make sure there's a free inventory slot (some items are very hard to see).
Also, is his oldest character 12 months, or is the ACCOUNT 12 months old? My account is 49 months old but I deleted my first character so I just got my first 4th year present. Hope that made sense.

My boyfriend just had the same thing. His mesmer turned 1 a month ago (now 13 months), but he still doesn't have a present. He asked support but they can't help him since they can't "make presents appear" and they can't check to see if you are lying about not getting it (totally understandable).
But if there are more people experiencing this...

Just FYI; My Rit just had her 1st birthday on the 10th of June, but the gift didn't show up until the 15th (was a Siege Turtle for the curious).

My suggestion echo's others. Just give it another day, or two and see if it appears.

FYI - if you are banned on your bday you will not get a present at all. Not saying that is the case for anyone here, but it is a nasty nugget of info. Kinda like being good for christmas

My Necro had her firstday birthday in November. Still hasn't received a present. I've never been banned, my inventory wasn't full...and my account is 4 years old... when I type /age it says shes 19 months old. I don't play the char, nobody has my account info...so I know it wasn't taken...

I guess I could submit a ticket...but, I figure I'll only get a crappy white mini that I already have several of anyway.

Just sharing my experience, in case this has happened to anyone else.

I really hope Anet fixes this problem, There are ALOT of people missing their birthday presents lately and It is total BS that Anet wont reimburse them because its "out of their control"

Be glad you are gettign them.....You gonna complain because they gave you something they didnt have to and have no gameplay value at all?./..

Il seel you all the minis i have.. 1st year go from 1-3k... which 1 you want -_-

Seriously just wait.. if not you can alwasy buy 1 for him and pretend he got it =)

That's not true. I had a 72 hour ban (12 hours actually) for a char name nothing offensive either (bloody 12 year olds) Anyway once i re-logged I had a 3rd year pressie waiting.

always make sure you have a free slot in your inventory. I lost a gift this way on a mule character. You don't get it back if you have a full inventory.

I haven't had this problem yet luckily but I have had another weird thing happen. The first character I made (the day I made my account) has suddenly become 2 months younger. Honestly, I made her on my bday over 3 years ago. Went to get my 3rd year present and my character was 2 months too young o___O

strangely my dervish got his a month before the day he was created however my sin got it a month or two after his b-day. a-net needs to fix this
