Hey guys i'm interested doing pits in UWSC but i don't know the best way to train for it. I seen videos on youtube but for the training, do you just solo, run to pits, and practice it?

Seems like pretty expensive training to considering 3.5k+ for the cons and 1k to enter is about 5k just 1 round to practice.

Anyone know a good way that I wouldn't have to pay 5k+ for each practice round?

Thank you!

Get someone else to pay 5k.

It isn't all that much provided you finish, you usually get an ecto doing pits, and you have to clear chamber to be able to do pits anyway, so that's usually 1-3 ecto.

EDIT: Join a pug saying you're pro, pay the cons guy 1k, and get practice that way.

Well I recently started doing UWSC with my guildies, and to train, we all watched videos at first and then split the price for cons to conduct runs. If you get a group of people, like your friends or alliance buddies, the price is not that expensive. Most likely you will get an ecto from doing the area once every two runs, as well as passage scrolls. It's worth the cost to learn, as it is considerably profitable once you get it down. If your guild doesn't have people who are willing to learn UWSC, I would highly suggest you join a guild that advertises that it trains people, otherwise it would be extremely difficulty to learn with PUGS or just by yourself without an instructor. Watching someone run, or having someone tell you what to do helps a lot, but still watch a video to get the gist of it. If you don't wanna leave your friends behind in your guild, you can always just quit the UWSC guild once you've learned how to do it.

Go to UW access point and spam want to buy your heroes 1k you leave after teleport. (so it costs 2k a trip Whoopie)

Pick a team you think you need... 6 heroes and you run what you want. Flag the heroes when you get to the point you want to solo.

Train away (also if you die there is a chance to get rezed)

watch something from youtube then spam:
EXP *your area* SIN LFG!!!
and look at party search for a party
then get in a group

EDIT: the best thing of this method is that:
as you have watched youtube you will have general impression what to do (start with an easy area such as planes imo)
and if you die, you can allways watch someone else run your area

lesson number 2
never ever trust someone who is saying he is exp.
50% of them is not.

Watch the youtube videos and then just join a PuG and pay for cons if you fail.

Lol won't you be asked to pay even if you D/C? :P

Hmmm sorry to hijack this thread but I don't want to make a new thread just for one question.
As chambers, when you take the quest, is there any way to not have all the Aatxes run down the ramp towards your party? Usually a DN spawns when I get to the soul and then everything comes running down, and sometimes people don't put up SF / the necro stands in front.

As said before, watch videos, it really does help. Pits is good to start with because there's generally less of a chance that you'll fail the group.

My first UWSC I was pits and I failed the group. Good thing about it was that I learned not to do. Sometimes you just have to try it.

Just join a group and do your best. Through failure you will get better and understand it more. The idea is to learn from your mistakes. No one has ever succeeded in anything without failure.

As others have said, watch the youtube vids. Remember the routes, learn the skill bar, and remember the enemies. Once you have that figured out go on ahead and put it into work. You may experience a lot of verbal abuse from the get go but just suck it up. Ignore it because it doesn't matter as long as you aren't dicking around. Do your best and as time progresses you will eventually become more comfortable, confident and faster.

I would choose Pits as a good starting point. It's relatively easy provided you keep SF up which shouldn't be a problem. You can take your time and no one will ask you to cover any areas. Virtually uninterrupted. Just don't let any of the npc's die.
