Gosh, these Tengu are so frustrating.

I've been farming Feathers from the Tengus by LA as a W/RT. It's pretty easy, until I cast my elite (VWK). Then, six wilds cast Cry of Frustration at the same time. IT'S A 3/4 SEC CAST TIME.
So, next run, thinking I'm being smart by bringing Channeled Strike (Shitload of energy, but a 2 second cast.)- So, I try to cast that on a wild hoping to get them to interrupt it.
I try it twice.
No interrupt.
I cast VWK.
I get interrupted.
How do I stop this crap? Please guys, someone must have some ideas.

you never said it couldnt be elite

One would assume that, if he's running a build using VwK, he'd need a non-elite since most builds using that skill pretty much revolve around having and using it...
obsidian ectoplasm
Just fake it a few times
lol gg on nrg though

fenix
Put it up the TINIEST second before aggroing. That way you won't get interrupted.
Helix Dreadlock
Or you could do hundred blades :P

@ Obs... You mean just cast it without trigging CD?
@ Fenix... It usually takes more than one VwK to kill them all. The second, or possibly even third, is where they get me.
@ Helix With enemies at all ranges, that simply won't work... or will it?

You could try cancel-casting healing signet. I'm positive they will try to CoF that.

The AI has hacks for interrupts. Remember, it knows when you cast something. It can and will reliably interrupt *1/4* second casts.
This problem is the single biggest reason that heroes are to be replaced in HA and GvG (although there are plenty of others).

Run a perma farmer, not that hard.
Destro Maniak

Done tengu easily on 600/smite and on perma sin but ive never seen 6 tengu mesmers together .Usually theres 1 or 2 max in a mob so im guessing your trying to over aggro.
Unless your a perma sin or 600/smite only aggro 1 mob at a time.

I've tried VwK there, it's too random though, so I'd say forget using that. Wary stance doesn't work against spells either.
Use an old ass Wammo build with an axe. Off the top of my head, just use Healing Hands, Vigorous Spirit, Mending, Healing Signet, 2/3 adrenaline axe skills and Berserker Stance. The Mesmers will kill your enchantments but there is usually only one in a group, so cast Vigorous Spirit before you run in (the mesmer will kill that enchantment, but that means it won't kill Mending), run straight to the Mesmer, kill it, and cast Healing Hands after to regain your lost health. Kill the rest of the mob with axe skills. Make sure you don't aggro 2 groups though, you could end up with 2 Mesmers then.
