The only WTB/WTS threads I've found using google are pre-2009 or have no prices listed. I've seen prices vary from 10k to 100k for a blue skull shield!

the lowest req for MAX inscrip weapons is req8 so you would be looking for a req7 15AL shield. They are also known as Imbagon shields. You can buy them in game for 15-20k. It is usually the req7 tactics 15AL shields that go for 50k+ since monks love them.
Skull shield is the most common. Be prepared to spend more if you want a gold.
