Question

I have just started playing GW again, and am playing Night Fall. I noticed that my character could get a book/journal to fill with her battles. My questions is, how do I fill it? I have the book, and have completed some quests, but nothing appears in the book Do I need to speak with someone?

Normal quests don't go into the 'Night Falls' book. Only missions in Nightfall are added into that book, starting with Consulate Docks. Chahbek Village, Johkanur Diggings, and Blacktide Den, while missions in Nightfall, do not go into the book as they are low-level missions.

To add to Marty's comment:
He meant to say; "Missions in Istan don't count cause they're low level missions"

Here is a link to the wiki section on Storybooks.

Each storybook page includes a description of what each page will contain as that book is filled and what rewards you can receive. For example, the Night Falls book can be turned in for either Sunspear or Lightbringer points. There is no limit on the number of times you can fill a book, although turning in a Normal Mode book must be done before you reach a certain title level.

quests dont fill the thing, you have to do the mission, in normal mode, to fill the normal mode book, then you have to do them again in hard mode, which you unlock when you finish the campaign, doesn't have to be the same character, to fill the hard mode version.
