Sarra's GW Doodles :)

I sketched my friend's rit today and figured I would post it up along with the couple other GW doodles I have done that are laying around here

Nothing special and nothing I worked too hard on really, but fun nonetheless

Everything needs fullview or it looks like crap so click on them

Just a fast, sloppy sketch of my old prophecies ele (she got a makeover and is now dark-skinned and way hotter):


Oh and if the coloring seems terribad, it's because I'm using sumopaint online, since I reformatted and don't want to find/install photoshop. (that and I havent really tried to learn to color yet anyway) I prefer to color in pencil but it scans in extremely poorly...

Those looks really nice! I like how you draw your characters in a kind of "cute" way (hard to explain =P). I like the rit the best though I like how you did the fow armor on that mesmer. (Jeez just noticed I put "I like" like three times...)

You should do commissions, I already know you'd get a few takers -nudge nudge-.

you shouldn't color in your sketches :P The top and bottom pics look nice, the middle ones are baed.

Few anatomical errors / strange poses (namely the mesmer, try do that pose and you'll see) but decent work for sketches.

Few awkward poses but hey, you're more creative than me. I really do think your sketches look better than the colored versions. You have the right amount of details to make it cute and enjoyable to look at, but the bulky lines and flat color take away from that. <3

Keep it up though :] Hope to see more in the future.

@Daisuke & Zenrgy: Exactly why do you feel the need to teach me and why exactly do you think you are good enough that you even could? And why are you offering criticism and advice when not asked for anyway? ....Rude. I can see the flaws in my own crappy sketches (which I said were only doodles..) and even if I couldn't I would not ask for non-productive patronizing advice that only makes your e-peen feel bigger than it should be.

Im jealous because i always wanted a "doodle" of my warrior. Due to my lack of talent in drawing, my doodles go in the trash

Remember its easy for people to "slam" your work. It can be difficult to positively critique work through a post. Regardless, YOU are your own best critic. Through time, you'll "improve" and/or critique your own work.

The great things is....you are passionate/fiery about what you love to do. Dont let anyone sour or take that away from you. Keep up the good work.

"The middle ones are bad" is not at all useful criticism. If you're going to criticize, at least be constructive about it. And considering what Sarra's using for it and the fact that she said she's used to coloring in pencil, it's really not poorly done.

And yeah, the Mesmer's pose is a bit awkward, but actually saying why it's awkward would be a lot more helpful than just stating it looks weird.

Really, guys. Learn to leave proper criticism. It's not terribly difficult.

About the Mesmer's pose - her arm holding the shield? It looks like the back/top of her hand/arm is facing us. Really, it should be her wrist facing us - shields are worn on the back of your arm, otherwise they'd be useless as they would end up between your arm and body. That is really the only thing making it look awkward, though; beyond that it's a cute pose and perfectly matches the devious look on her face. She looks like she's plotting to sneak up on and spear someone :P

The ele and rit look nice, and I like the simple coloring on the ele. I'd commission a portrait like that :P

I think your work is very good. Those are just doodles? Still awesome! Don't worry about those flamers, there always has to be at least one terd that makes jerky comments for a +1 post count. Don't worry about them, you're very talented. Oh and I loved your e-peen reply. hehe
