Weekend event suggestion

Because the search function is down, I do not know if this had been suggested. My apologies if it has been.

How about a weekend allowing the use of 7 heroes in your party? Virtually everyone wants this option all the time, and this will let everyone in the game and on the Dev team see what the effects would be.

Opinions?

I like this idea. Since it would just be for a weekend I see no problem with it. If it were an all the time thing the game would be unbalanced probably, and people wouldn't want to PUG. A weekend of 7 heroes would be epic!

i like the idea but anet would have to rework the system and it would take to much time so they might as well make it permanent if they were going to do this. if they put so much work in accomplishing this but if i recall from anet before on this subject they cant do this the game mechanics wont allow it

Or make it a buy-able option :P

As has been said so many times, both here and elsewhere: 7 Heroes is not possible with the current system. With there focus now on GW2, they definitely will not even consider going back and re-doing everything for 7 Heroes.

As has been said so many times, the developer team for GW and GW2 is not the same, there are many different people devoted to each game, that excuse is not valid, that excuse has never been valid, stop making assumptions about things you do not know.

Meh this has been suggested many times. I am in favor of implementing it but it's not going to happen; ANet has in fact directly stated that.

And you get all these people QQ'ing about how pve is unbalanced...just think, if you add 7 hero teams in, will it become more balanced or more unbalabced? IMO 3 heroes are enough, but if 7 hero teams were possible, henchies would be obselete.

Me = Searing Flames
Olias = Sabway
Master of Whispers = Sabway
Livia = Sabway
Acolyte Sousuke = Searing Flames hero
Zhed = Searing Flames hero
Vekk = Searing Flames hero
Tahlkora = Healer

This would finally allow me to get the hardmode titles.

@Gift. Reading your post made it seem that there are a ton of people working on GW1, when in reality only about 50 are.

@Hyper. That is one of the reasons it wont happen.

Why to change the whole system to implement something that will not be widely implemented for just one weekend?

Also just want to comment on some of the posts, being able to bring 7 heroes wouldn't imbalance the game(more or less than it already is), you can bring a friend and take 6 heroes, really not much different.

Hench wouldn't be obsolete, you still need party members until you quest far enough to get heroes.

And, I've vanqed almost the entire continent of cantha with 4 hench, and the same for the EotN, Eve, Lo Sha, Herta, and Mhenlo ftw, they are great hench, atleast in Eye, I might be crazy, but in Eye they're much better. In fact during G.O.L.E.M in HM i can flag those 4 by themselves @ the west bridge and they wont die once.


The only time I couldn't use them for vanqing EotN, I just had a guild mate "lend" me heroes.
