Sharing an Account against the EULA?
OoO Rift OoO
IS sharing an account against the EULA? Because me n my brother had origionally paid half n half for the account i use now, for he never had intrest in the game.
Just wondering because i am trying to get my free storage and support said they need my original birthdate, name, and adress used in creating the account...BUT im not sure if i had combined my brother's and i's birthdates or something of the sort...i doubt i even put in my actual adress and name O_o''

Although it sounds like they never actually shared the account, if his brother never played.
They just shared the cost of the game.
But explain to Support that you gave incorrect info for registration (and you are an idiot), but have all the other supporting purchase materials. Give them access keys and character names and anything else you can think of to confirm that it is really your account and not one you hacked.

I guess I violate the EULA. AHHHH, BAN INDE!! Do what Darcy said, you don't need to share with support that you and your brother are using the account together. There are plenty of us who used bogus information for our registration. Provide as much as you can of the following:
- Your name
- Your game account name(s)
- Your address
- Your telephone number
- Your birth date
- Your access keys (a scan of the key would be super helpful)
- The last four digits of the credit card(s) that you used for NCsoft Store or Guild Wars In-Game Store purchases

Setting up my NCsoft Master Account was a nightmare because I have 6 full accounts plus one storage account they wanted every single key code I ever had. On some accounts I even had different addresses, since I used a mix of my mom's and my dad's addresses (they are divorced). I use their addresses because they are addresses in Canada (which are permanent addresses for me) as opposed to my own as I am living abroad at the moment.
Anyway, it took several days of back and forth to get all of that stuff settled as well as connecting accounts together onto Master accounts.
After all that, I still do not know what is going on with Asia not being able to access the free storage. I think that they will remedy this issue though because they can't say,
"Ok if you sign up for an NCsoft account, you can all have free storage, yay!
....Oh, wait a minute. Not the Asians. You Asians and those of you who live with the Asians don't get any free storage. Thanks for making all the NCsoft master accounts, though. We wanted those. Yeah."
It is my belief that anyone who has written into support proir to the deadline will still get that support even after the deadline because people did actually go in and sign up for the Free Storage Pane on time. The issues that have blocked these people from getting the Free Storage Pane seem multiple and confusing.
This game has been out for years and it seems to me that a lot of people are not going to remember all of their info since the year that they signed up. Nor would some remember where they put the info that they wrote down, or they had their info on their hard drive but since then it's been wiped, upgraded or whatever. The list goes on.
I know after all this, however, that I have learned my lesson and will keep a proper record of every single thing I do online from now on. This is my first online dealing of any kind and I guess we all have to learn somewhere.

The "adult purchase for minor child" is for Europe, where the requirements are different.

I'm pretty sure they refer to sharing as someone outside of your household, i.e a friend made on the game etc...
They cannot realistically expect people of the same household to buy another copy of the game just to play. For instance what if there is only one computer in the household and 2 people would like to play? How are you gonna have 2 editions of the game on the same computer (Partitions of course, but that is not something everyone is going to do).
Edit:btw ^^ Darcy I'm from RI also, right on the border to MA in Pawtucket. Nice to see someone around my way playing. I actually just installed this game today going to give it a shot once the kids go to bed.
